US kills al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri in drone strike in Afghanistan

Thanks to this ops, like the old days Pak will get some instant benefits that is much required now. Afganistan = $s by other means...

One who’s hands are in the begging position can’t dictate what they get, only the one who gives. The ones who’s hands are in the bottom can never be on top. It’s a fact about Pakistan sadly.

Where is the evidence? Are we to just believe politicians in the lead up to the elections? If you buy this bullshit you better keep your receipt.

But it wouldn't help Biden much.. tsunami of trump is too big.
Trump is over.
Just to be clear, an election in Kansas matters more in midterms than embarrassing China.
We all knew China will not touch an American Taiwan or not.
Anybody outside China thinking that China can challenge US even in their own backyard isn't facing reality.
Couple of bombs and sanctions will make China go back to being a farming people scaring away sparrows...
Xi knows this very well, hence accepted the humiliation meted out by Pelosi.
Try scrub that over...capiche!

Served what? Big mac and fries? You havent touched my people...my people are what causes your army to retreat and go to negotiation table. I aint no Arab or Pakistani. Figure it out, and while youre at it figure out your gender pronoun, you melt! Lol

You are an Iranian

You are treating Taliban as a unified body or State when they are not, they have infighting and fractions,...

...Taliban by no means can control every group in Afghanistan, that includes ISIS and AQ, or TTP.
Essentially irrelevant. We have no choice but to call it irrelevant. Whenever anyone go into Afghanistan, they meet the Taliban, probably never the other factions. Not only that, the Taliban declared themselves the authority in Afghanistan. So we will treat them as a State and hold them responsible for what go on inside Afghanistan.

The drones most likely used Pakistani airspace.

Whether they took off from Pakistani bases, that is not clear.

Zawahiri may or may not be dead. Would have to wait out a few more days. He has a nag of giving speeches and distributing the videos.

Overall, Pakistan if it had provided airspace, should not have. This will just be the beginning of American overtures. And we’ll have to deal with the blowback from the tribals.

The establishment never learns from it’s mistakes.

Taliban say investigating US claim of killing Zawahiri

Reuters
August 4, 2022

The Taliban are investigating a US "claim" that al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed in a US drone strike in Kabul, a Taliban official said on Thursday, indicating the group's leadership were not aware of his presence there.

The United States killed Zawahiri with a missile fired from a drone while he stood on a balcony at his Kabul hideout on Sunday, US officials said, in the biggest blow to the militants since Osama bin Laden was shot dead more than a decade ago.

"The government and the leadership wasn’t aware of what is being claimed, nor any trace there," Suhail Shaheen, the designated Taliban representative to the United Nations, who is based in Doha, told journalists in a message. "Investigation is underway now to find out about the veracity of the claim," he said, adding that the results of the investigation would be shared publicly.

Taliban leaders have remained largely tight-lipped about the Sunday drone strike and have not confirmed the presence or death of Zawahiri in Kabul.

Top Taliban leaders have been holding lengthy discussions about how to respond to the US drone strike, three sources in the group said.

How the Taliban react could have significant repercussions as the group seeks international legitimacy and access to billions of dollars in frozen funds, following their defeat of a US-backed government a year ago.

Zawahiri, an Egyptian doctor, was closely involved in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States and was one of the world's most wanted men.

His death in Kabul raises questions about whether he received sanctuary from the Taliban, who had assured the United States as part of a 2020 agreement on the withdrawal of US-led forces that they would not harbour other militant groups.

Shaheen said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan - the name the Taliban use for the country and their government - was committed to the agreement, signed in the Qatari capital, Doha.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the Taliban had "grossly violated" the agreement by hosting and sheltering Zawahiri

Is

Is It sarcastic?
Taliban itself a terrorist organization.

This kill will irk al-qaida more against Pakistan. Bcz drone took off from Pakistan.
So basically from al-qaida perspective Pakistan is with kufar America.
Apparantly neither Pakistan nor it's airspace was used. Reports suggest it was one of the central asian countries.

There are no bases in Tajikistan
Some US media outlets are suggesting Kyrgyzstan.

Cannot be the whole Taliban. He was living under protection of the Haqqani faction which rules Taliban's interior ministry. Possibly a faction of Taliban secretly passed information to the USA in return for personal gain. Mainstream American media have blamed Taliban for violating their Doha Agreement not to host AQ

Some media have named the Taliban's Defence Minister and the group's foreign minister as the possible suspects who might have passed the information to the Americans. The rivalry between Haqani network and the Muallah Baradar side might have played a role in all of this.

Well that is what we are thinking but If America has learned his lesson from Afghan war, they will never set foot in that again. But if the Greed and blood calls than yes I agree US has might and power to go back in, but again the results will not be any different.

Zawahiri comes from a distinguished Egyptian family, according to the New York Times. His grandfather, Rabia'a al-Zawahiri, was an imam at al-Azhar University in Cairo. His great-uncle, Abdel Rahman Azzam, was the first secretary of the Arab League.

Good riddance and may he dwell in the flames of hell for eternity. This scum-sucking cretin vermin like the rest of them who bastardized our great religion and brought this disgustingly filthy ideology that has changed history for the worst can take another bladed hellfire or two right between the eyeballs as far as I'm concerned.

Him and the rest of his filthy affiliates that also ruined Egypt with that cretinous organization knows as Egyptian Islamic Jihad can all join him in juhanam for the rest of eternity as well. They've done nothing but the opposite of furthering the teachings of the great religion of Islam.

That same group of bacterial vermin EIJ was also involved in the assassination of Sadat in 1981 when the preceding vermin Khaled El Elsamboli and 4 other cretins took their AKs and riddled Sadat's body with bullets. I won't get into how revered this filthy cretin is in Iran, to a certain extent, unfortunately, naming a street after him and such but the reason I bring that up is because of the vile feces that is considered to be the scum-sucking hog zawahri's successor is said to be hiding or living in Iran ATM. Hopefully this slimy filthy load of steaming dung gets his bladed missile right in the forehead before he gets any reclamation to the throne of murdering scuzz scum this group is made of.

THIS filth needs to be eradicated immediately, if not sooner.

LOL! If this clown was living this close to the UK embassy (what, 250ft away lmaoooo) and just under 4000ft away from the US embassy and would trot out on his balcony every morning to breathe some bladed missile ooops, sorry, fresh air looool they shouldn't have killed him! He was such a genius they would've been better off keeping him alive and using his brilliance for further intel!!!

If I ever did fancy conspiracy theories.
Yeah, everything the general public says is Yahoodi Sazish according to untouchables. And the military is busy fighting these conspiracy theories by deploying an Army of Umme-Hareems and spending close to Rs 1.5 billion of tax payers money on songs.
