Not really, you guys have told KSA that you'd "Defend" them. Not participate in attacks. This is force projection. I've written about it a few days ago, as the sea lines have increased in mileage, now Pakistan's Navy's technical reach or area of operation goes all the way up, right before Oman. And PN will be getting a lot more ships to protect Gawader and Karachi, as the economy grows.

So these deployments will become normal as strategically, Pakistan would always want to place a few ships ongoing around the Arab states, away from her own shores. But here, this strategy starts and the first request came from the KSA.

No. This is both for evacuation purposes, as well as to show political support with KSA. There is little support within Pakistan, both from the military and the civilian leadership, to send forces to Yemen.

While I have recently come to the conclusion that Pakistan will eventually get involved, it may not be as overt as the Saudis would like.

We may provide logistical or other support that doesn't involve active combat. We may have boots on ground, but in the for of UN. For example, reconnaissance (with our drones maybe), decision making and whatnot. What we will not do (unless they start crossing border) is to shoot missiles/fire weapons.

We have to show the Saudi we stand with them. After all they have stood with us too. So in the future when Pakistan is in trouble, they can provide us similar level of support.

This kind of Navy operation should start routinely to rescue overseas Pakistani citizens in Middle East crisis and zombiees.

Something like this, we should celebrate if our Pakistan navy arrive to bring them home.

yeah threats against Saudia Arabia.............. right now Saudia Arabia is on offense. We will over look our policy when Saudia Arabia will be on defensive situation.

Well Iran is not our ally. They are with India. Both Iran and India are opening chah Bahar port to counter our Gwadar port and from there India will open trade with Afghanistan and with that Indian influence on Afghanistan.
That way Pakistan will be squeezed between enmies and will need help,most probably from Saudia.
so now in their time of need we will help them,so that when Iran-India-Afghanistan alliance start their tricks against us we have some country to rely upon.
This is called international politics.
