Great idea, so crazy Afghani terrorists can find another reason to hate Pakistan.

Some people here seem to be obsessed with the Palestinian issue, and would only support some sort of relationship with Israel if Israel does this or that in return.

You, people, forget, that Israel owes you nothing.
Instead of considering your demands, think about what you can offer to Israel.
Is it just diplomatic relationship? In return you will have only diplomatic relationship, without any influence on the Palestinian issue or any other issue here in Israel.

Israelis are awaiting/preparing for their Messiah and that's when shits going to really hit the fan. This is nothing yet.

Meanwhile, Pakistan needs to concentrate on development and solving it's own issues.

Thanks,

The truth of the matter is that Israel does not even care about Pakistan. We are not on their radar. They are completely indifferent to us. They will do whatever they want weather we acknowledge or recognise them or not. If we did have any relations with them they would do absolutely nothing to benefit us as they have no reason to. We will achieve nothing by having diplomatic relations with Israel. The Arabs need to have good relations with them so as they are not attacked by the IDF. All we need to do is stay out of their way and they need to reciprocate that. The Israelis are not going to invade us and we're not going to provoke them. Let's leave it at that.

Not until a Palestinian state is established with the same rights as Israel.

Couple of points here.

People say why maintain relations with israel as they have killed palestinians? Well this point is baseless as Pakistan maintains close relations with US which has probably killed more people than the entire mongol empire.

The basic principle should be that any relation that benefits the palestinians in any way should be considered.

Pakistan has been on Israel's radar ever since or especially since it became a nuclear power,we all know why.

Pakistan needs to remember number one rule in boxing, "protect yourself at all times".

Thanks

I actually agree with you. We do need to keep our wits about us and our guard high. Point being is that we don't need a confrontation with them but we don't want to be their friends or have anything to do with them either. If the Arabs have turned their backs on the Quran and Islam, does'nt mean we should too.

Directly, we don't have an issue with Israel, our only dispute is the Palestinian aka Muslim cause. Albeit justified but it shouldn't be leading our own lives. Some Muslim countries which neighbour Neighbour Israel and Palestine have diplomatic and other contacts with both countries yet we sitting thousands miles away cry foul. Recent events have again proved that every country has it's own interests at heart hence we should drop the role of ''The Voice'' for Muslims elsewhere. Having diplomatic links also gives you a certain leverage which can be exercised for better results.
You are absolutely right. The issues which we have with Israel are unnecessarily magnified.

it is not about friendship but i feel Israel and Pakistan partnership is the need of the hour irrespective of faith. it has more to do with development and progress
Mullah is not much strong in Pakistan. The majority of Muslims in Pakistan are moderate. The Mullah parties like JI or JUI hardly secure 4 -5% seats of NA in general elections.

Diplomatic relations with Israel are not akin to our submission. We have to establish our relations with Israel on equal terms for mutual benefits. We shall have 'give and take policy' with Israel. Bharat is our no. 1 enemy and caused the division of our beloved country in 1971 but we do have diplomatic relations with her.
