UK can make a jet on its own but the question is will US let it, they will be losing possible sales of a current or a future platform. They have BAE and RR.

Did I say Britain is broke? It sure as hell is broke. Britain today is not Britain 40 years ago. So many third worlders. So much welfare. Britain has very limited defense budget. Making a 5th gen jet is near impossible for Britain to do alone.

You are calling amphibious assault ships aircraft carriers. No they aren't. Or else Mistral, Ivan Gren, Type 071, Izumo are all aircraft carries. They aren't. Hell. Just about every warship these days carry aircraft. Don't make them aircraft carriers.
