Iran haters have spread so much doubts abt the jet...now every news seems false.
But i think iran can develop prototype or a scaled down version..building a full fledge 5th generation aircraft at this point of time is dificult.

its more 4 / 4++ fighters with some stealth characterization not 5th generation fighter ( although we will call it 5th fighter for propaganda purpose ) ....

It cant be supersonic (no diverters or DSI).
It cant be maneuverable because of small bizarre shaped wings and inlets on top.
It cant carry weapons inside because its tiny.

They love doing strange things like mock up of aircraft carrier.
