Pakistan snubs India over bulletproof car at SAARC summit

Will the PAF C-130 be allowed to fly over Indian air space? Surely not? It's gonna be a long detour, what a waste of money. He could have just used one of Pakistan embassy's car, like he did when he visited India :undecided:

They regularly do if needed. Both Indian and Pakistani military transport aircraft fly over each other's airspace with prior permission. We are states that consider each other enemies but not inhumane. Let not think that the inhumane ideals that many Indian and Pakistani members bring with them on PDF reflect on a governmental level.

Initially, Nepal had decided to buy or hire eight high-end bulletproof cars for the summit but due to time constraints, Nepal could not buy them on time. Later, the Indian government came forward for assistance following which Nepal decided to take India`s help, said a senior Nepal government official

Six armoured BMW cars to be used during the upcoming 18th Saarc Summit
Thirty two more non-armoured BMW and Mercedes Benz cars will be hired from India for the summit.
Nepal has to pay over Nepali Rs.13.5 million ($136,160) as rent for the 32 medium range vehicles for 11 days

Meanwhile, Nepal government provided Bullet proof LIMO for Pakistan PM from its own reserve but PM Pakistan will bring his own
as per Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It may be a difficult concept for Pakistanis to comprehend..but Pakistan did not snub India...It snubbed Nepal actually.. We gave these to Nepal on its request...

This may be a difficult concept for Indians to understand, but there was really no snubbing as mentioned by Indian officials themselves. Dignitaries are provided cars by the host government as part of their responsibilities, however visiting dignitaries have every right to bring their own transportation if they deem the host's provision inadequate for their security concerns. By the gauge of Indians and their vitriolic ideas about Pakistan and Pakistanis.. they should also consider being snubbed by the Americans and quite a few other visiting dignitaries who used their own vehicles on visits.

People who do not deal with Indians and Pakistanis on a person to person level, reading this forum, may justifiably believe that we pull out daggers for each other when we meet on the streets of a third country :D

The idea that usually Indians and Pakistanis are routinely left bunking with each other and pooling forex for the next meal is incomprehensible for them.

That's definitely a news to me, whats stopping them from spying while flying over the other's airspace :undecided:

Huh? Where is the vitriol on the part of Indian members in this thread? Everyone's just shocked at that nawaz dude's wasteful ways.

Amply visible by the bias displayed against Pakistan. And this thread is not a gauge of Indians on PDF.

can be the case too ......
dont see anything wrong in this one case or another, i know same respond would have come from pakistani members if modi did something like this while visiting PK

This thread contains zero vitriol (yet). Your post doesn't make much sense given the general mood here thus far.
