Then the gay guy brought his friends over and started to escalate it.

It reminds me of that one Republican senator who vehemently supported criminalizing homosexuality and was very outspoken about it. He was later busted in the act screwing with another man in his office and it came out that he had a thing for hiring gay escorts in his free time.
