Probably, you are talking about HUD (Head up display). Just imagine all information of your car (speed, fuel, temperature etc) being projected at your wind screen so that you can have all this info without taking your eyes of the road. The purpose of HUD is to give pilot all info without taking his eyes of the front

Thanks Zeee, I used to think "HUD" is mounted inside helmet and data is projected on the helmet screens.. hehe..

by the way, what is that technology called which points the gun at target as pilot looks at it? That is usually found in Helicopters I suppose. I think that kind of information is projected on the helmet. Is it so?

like these...

it is called helmet mounted display (HMD), very similar to HUD in functionality, but gives pilot better flexibility to lock the target. Any specialist may explain the difference

dude see my last post again, and look at the length of vapours coming out of jf-17 and F-18 hornet. i am talking about the length of vapour trail, why its so long ?

There is more moister in the sky in fact fog it self is made of moister with the help of cold temperature so directly it will cause more vapour trail.
Hope this helps u :cheers:

Perhaps one of mod.'s could answer this :
What I have noticed from comparing the pictures from Farnborough ( and other pics of Thunder) and now is that the afterburner has a "Red cone" ( seen in modern western engines) which I have never seen before.. ? did they "soup" up the engine ??
:pakistan::china:

Why are they sad and thier hands parking position shall be the back of beauty rather than their own backs and closer on cheeks reflecting some warm relationship of Pak-China!

And what's up with their fitness?

I guess non of them is pilot, i guess they are technicians/engineers.

Well, we don't need wrestlers to maintain the planes. To me they look quick and agile. Being thin doesn't mean that you are weak.

And it is not our culture to show off like you suggestion for the Techs about their stance with the girl. It may look glamorous and dashing to you [inspired by American media eh?], but IMO it is not professional.
