Well we'll see how it goes. Modi doesn't seem like the kind of guy to back LGBT issues so I don't expect and quick changes during his term.

No sir there is awareness and also acceptability in India on LGBT rights but supreme court overturned the decision taken by HIGH court but it doesn't mean they are not accepted in society.
Lesbians are accepted by families now a days in India

So yes it will take time little more for maturity on this subject but it will be for sure in some years.
