The Punjab government is constructing a state of art Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital in Swat.


A meeting to review the project was held in Lahore on Saturday with the Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the chair as President of Board of Trusties.


The meeting was briefed about the progress of the project.


Ishaq Dar said it is a gift from Punjab for the people of Swat and it will be handed over to Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Government after it becomes functional.

Good initiative, however the naming of hospitals should be done in honor of people who may have been deceased or national hero

However , thanks to Nawaz Sharif for opening the hospital hope this trend continues in all cities of Pakistan by all parties and people who have funds

naming an hospital should be least of our worries, Personally one should not give a DAM whom the hospital is named after, as long as the visiting patients get good quality treatment and that also for FREE.

if its a gift from people of Punjab then why to name it Nawaz sharif hospital? I don't know why in our country all these things are attributed to politicians. Mostly these projects are funded by people's money and no one have the right to attribute them to their names for political gains. If its gift from people of Punjab then call it "Punjab Kidney Hospital"
