Fifth Of India's Underwater Fleet Out Of Action

This really highlights the lack of discipline and the lack of professionalism of the Indian Navy.

The reports says ....May not have been followed ! It's presumption ....
Wait for the final assessment . why are you jumping to conclusions ....Or is it that you were just waiting for something like that to pounce upon and belittle Indian Navy .

dude stop comparing yourself with china.

That will not happen until you stop comparing yourself to us and every other country in the region.

Other than a crazy nuke threat, conventionally you have nothing.

Your military is stretched thin to the limit with every gun-totting mullah attacking them as 'western agents'.

Your military claimed to have used air strikes which turned out to be US drones just a couple of weeks back.

Look where you stand in military pride. Taking the blame of an invading country upon yourself against your own people.

they are at a whole another level then you.

Which we accept, unlike some who believe in nonsense theories like 1 Pakistani = 10 Indians. :D

And the reason why we compare is that we need to devise a plan to catch up to them without having to compare weapon-to-weapon comparison. Which means we have to constantly assess ourselves of our limits and try to improve.

not only don't your submarines stand up to china but every other part of your military as well.

Barring a pathetic regime on the top, the PLA knows it too well where and upto what they can push their cards.

Haven't your parents taught you? When two elders talk, don't push yourself in between.

He has to my friend. He doesn't have a choice.

Tracked, recorded and watched every second, he has to live upto the obligations he has towards the CCP.

Otherwise the Red Guard will simply erase his name from the records and take him to a prison camp for 're-education'.

Please understand.

For the sake of saving their lives, let us comply with what they say. :D

The unprofessionalism in IN is well known. It's not me jumping to conclusion. It's your defense ministry saying it.

No need to wait long. Indian arm forces show its incompetency very often. There's really nothing to belittle IN, as it is what it is already

And his holiness the PLA chief has spoken. :D

Antony said that you people are all wrong! Because

1. India is leaving the rest of the world far behind by being the first country to enter an elite club of sinking a sub with anti-ship & land attack missiles such as Klub with an immediate effect, supported by ample, demonstrable and reproduceble vid clip evidences. India shows the world that it can be done, after all!

2. The multi-million dollar "big bang" showcases India's innovative and opulent way of celebrating big events such as launching a 30% finished solid iron block that could even be facinatingly labelled by some as "a carrier" whenever hunger hallucination sets in.

I am not aware of Unprofessionalism of Indian Navy. I believe nobody is perfect... can ever be perfect. We will try our best to improve from our shortcoming. But I feel it's immature to make sweeping statements against any such institutions. I would not say something against even a country deemed enemy to us. But then you are entitled to your opinions ...

Politicians , Leaders and countries do engage in such bravados and rhetorics to please its audience all across the globe. To judge country and its people based on such things is very superficial approach !

now ,now a chinese is speaking about the Indian A/C!first of all you guys don't even operate an A/C.the thing you have in Lionling is nothing but a big floating casino with primitive sensors and equipment and you don't even have an operational aircraft to fly from that floating casino of yours(J-15 is nothing but a joke)

If India need these ships, India should just buy them.

Yes, this is the same what I am saying it.

IN should place an order now from:

Russia: 6 Amur SSKs
Germany: 6 U-214 SSKs
France: 6 Scorpion SSKs as there might be some more time, money and other issues with MDL, India for which IN might not be able to bear on its capability.

Also in light of China's conflict near by they can put there requirement for quicker delivery of:
12 P-8Is and also 18 P-8Is more
6 C-130J-30s and also an order for another 20 C-130J-30s
10 C-17s and also 20 C-17s more
100++ Apaches

The Navy has been so busy with the acquisition of surface warships that submarines were totally neglected.

A very poor set of planning by a callous MOD, but it had to go with respect to our defence budget limits.

Sadly, a lot of money has gone in scams and scandals thanks to the current government, which could have been used to create a more robust and far sighted defence plan apart from fueling the economy.

Ordering everything on the spot will get us nothing. The point is, 10 years from now on, we should be able to not just make our own weapons but also be able to innovate and technologically advance in it.

Till date, indigenous projects were delayed with the sole pupose of keeping Indians waiting and fooling for fat pay commissions by middle men and politicians.

Now things are changing.

It will take some time but we will get there.

Right now we are capable enough to tackle any regional conflict.

What is needed is a strong leadership that can take decisions with an iron fist.

oh yeah and we have seen how mighty chinese navy lost its ming class submarine killing all of it's sailors some years back. Also how it lost one xia class nuclear submarine in 80s. Should I count a chinese destroyer accident too in which 100+ sailors killed?? We have definitely much more to laugh on chinese accidents.

I think its totally depends upon IN now and I am sure they are not backing at all. Also like the official order of the P-8Is was about 10 planes and now we heard that IN will be receiving 12 of them. We are also hoping that in near future in will increase the order or make a new deal for another 18 P-8Is.

Also for SSKs from Germany as well as from Russia too along with its plan of Arihant induction which they may speed up...

if this is how you understand China, you will die of a brainwashed id1ot for nothing.

First of all the submarine was a diesel electric one . Not a nuclear-powered submarine .

Rest of your post was usual cr@p .

2 subs out of action at a stroke.

Thank god it wasn't the Arihant this time, but you never if it wouldn't be the Arihant next time.

Fingers and toes crossed.

By the way, India's propensity to self-destruction is unparalleled!:yay:

If India need these ships, India should just buy them.

You think they have the funds?

Collapsing rupee,expanding CAD,sky-high inflation,balloning fiscal deficits,industrial production in contraction,policy paralysis,etc etc,the Indian economy is on its knees。GDP growth of 4.5% at best。

These people always talk in future tense。

Pathetic!
