i am not sure which forum this belongs to so i am putting it here. i request the moderators to move it to the appropriate section
In one of the threads it was mentioned somewhere that "kashmiris have rights but not freedom"
it was left at that
i was curious to know how exactly they are different from each other.
in my opinion freedom is the right to choose which in this case the kashmiris have. they have the right to choose to do whatever they want except breaking the law or ceding from the india. i am talking of the indian kashmiris here.
to be truthful no one has the right to cede from the country they are part of. not legally atleast. no other part of india has the right, none of the provinces of any other country has that right either.
so if the definition of "right to choose" holds the kashmiris would be as free as any other people in the world.
