BLACH... had Pakistan did this then US would had gone crazy.

This is Gen. Kayanis fault for staying gutless, our Pakistan is ruled by the corrupt & incompetent & the elections are on coming 11th & by the looks of thing Pakistan is once again going to be ruled by corrupt & incompetent the people who we know as patwaris, they have already started to please their boss India by giving comments against Pak Army & talking big against Pak Army. If GOD forbid this gutless & balless patwaris come to power then we are doomed, they will take full revenge against Pakistan.

What I personally believe after all this our enemies are known to us & todays Pakistan is filled with rented traitors & rented terrorists, Pakistan should come first to hell with Democrazy & Constitution, if GOD forbid something happens to our Pakistan what the FU*K are you people are going to do with Constitution?

What would you people do when your house is infected with pests or you have rats all over the place? you all go for pest control spray or you all kill the rats. This is what is needed with Pakistan full clean up, so that our Pak Army does not need to worry about any crap politicians doing wrong.

Today's Pakistan is surronded by enemies & our enemies are known to us, Gen. Kayani needs to do the right thing & he need to do it for Pakistan. Pakistan should always come first.

Afghan news channel are exaggerating the figure

The Afghan and Pakistani forces have resumed clashes in Ghosta district of eastern Nangarhar province early Monday, local officials said.

The clashes broke out today morning, when the Pakistani military forces tried to rebuild the gate of the check-post in Goshta district of Nangarhar, an Afghan border commander in eastern Afghanistan said.

Afghan border officials said that 30 Pakistani forces have been killed or wounded in the clashes. There are no exact figures of how many Pakistani forces were killed and how many got wounded.

The Afghan forces have destroyed a Pakistani military tank and removed two of Pakistani check-posts during the clashes, the Afghan commander said.

The fighting is still going on between the two sides in the area using heavy weapons.

Clashes between the Afghan and Pakistani military forces had also taken place last Wednesday over building of the check-posts in Ghosta district of eastern Nangarhar province. At least one Afghan border police was killed in the incident.

Two Pakistani soldiers were also wounded in the exchange of fire.

Afghan, Pakistan Border Clash Resumed in Nangarhar

Any casualty reported?

this will lead to disaster for both the countries .......... what's the issue with Afghan media , what is it exaggerating things too much .... looks to be foreign paid and it is not good afghan nation and will add to their sufferings ....... they should look for peace and brotherly relation with PAKISTAN rather than this negative approach ..

Indians are surely going to get some benefits from these clashes .

Durand Line is a settled issue, Pak tells Karzai

ISLAMABAD: Reacting sharply to Afghan President Hamid Karzai's statement that Kabul will never recognise Durand Line - the 2,640 kilometers long porous border between the two countries, Pakistan on Monday declared that Durand Line was a settled issue and opening debate on the matter was a distraction from the more pressing issues requiring mutual co-operation.

"Durand Line is a settled issue. Opening discussions on this issue is a distraction from the more pressing issues requiring the priority attention and co-operation of Pakistan and Afghanistan," said Foreign Office spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry while reacting to President Karzai's Saturday press conference in which he also called on the Taliban to "turn their weapons" against those who "plot" against Afghanistan.

To the portion to Karzai's statement in which he urged the militants to "stand with" Muhammad Qasim, an Afghan border policeman reportedly killed in a clash between Afghan and Pakistan troops on the border earlier this week and to turn their guns against those who are hostile against Afghanistan, the spokesman said that the continuing fight against terrorism and extremism warrants Pakistan, Afghanistan, and all other stakeholders to work together in a spirit of co-operation and harmony.

Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry recalled that President Karzai had in the past asked Pakistan to use its influence on the Taliban to enter into dialogue for reconciliation process. Pakistan had responded positively to that call, he said, adding that Pakistan will continue its support for the Afghan reconciliation process, rather than focus on the negatives.

Referring to President Karzai's remark that he visited Pakistan 19 times, the spokesperson said that Pakistan's leadership has also travelled to Afghanistan several times to help build trust and strengthen bilateral relations. "Pakistan remains fully committed to assist in all sincerity to peace and sustainable economic development in Afghanistan, which we believe is in the vital interest of Pakistan and our region," he added.

About President Karzai's remarks regarding Pakistani posts on the border, the spokesperson recalled that Pakistani post in Gursal had come under attack from Afghan forces and there had been several threatening and provocative statements made by Afghan leadership in this regard.

He reiterated that the posts on Pakistan-Afghanistan border were serving a useful and mutually beneficial purpose of better border management, which is crucial for interdicting cross border undesirable activity. He reaffirmed the need to use bilateral channels including military to military contacts to resolve the issues relating to posts. In several high level interactions in recent past, the spokesman recalled that the leadership of the two countries is agreed on the imperatives of a mechanism for an effective border management for the mutual benefit of the two countries.

The Foreign Office response came in the wake of the second clash between Afghan and Pakistani troops in less than a week on the border in Nangarhar province on Monday morning, which is the latest indication of a sharp deterioration in relations between the two neighbours. Reports claimed that three Afghan soldiers were injured as a result of the exchange of fire.

Meanwhile, according to a statement available at the official website of Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Afghan Director-General of the First Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Azizuddin Ahmadzada met with the Pakistani Charge d'Affaires in Kabul Shah Nazar Afridi on Monday at the Foreign Ministry.

Ahmadzada lodged the Afghan government's strong protest with Afridi about the unprovoked attack by Pakistani forces, who used both heavy and light weapons, against Afghan forces near the Durand Line in Goshta district, Nangarhar province this morning. The statement added that the Pakistani attack, which occurred at 8:20 am. Monday morning, did not result in any casualties to Afghan forces. "Ahmadzada clarified to Afridi that in case of Pakistani forces' continued refusal to remove all Pakistani installations at Goshta and other areas and any further unprovoked attacks by Pakistani forces, Pakistan will bear responsibility for any consequences," the statement added.

The entire problem lies in the Durand line. Afghanistan does not recognize it. Instead it feels it has a right over all the territory owned by Pakistan. Everything east of the river Indus (according to them) belongs to them. The only people who will benefit from Afghanistan and Pakistan not being on good terms are the Taliban.

Destroying the terrorists requires cooperation between the two nations. Instead Afghanistan has become a major headache for Pakistan.

I think this is called Border dispute and disputed territory. Both party claim there right on the piece of land. Both country use there perspective...

There are only two solution for it.
1. War
2. Negotiation...

The Afghan ambassador was summoned to the FO today regarding this incident.

agree with those who say that the afghan army are being pushed in this direction...although there has always been trouble this level of sustained engagement is not normal, where they get so brave from?

in effect the us has created or help create a hostility between afghanistan and pakistan at state level, remember the NATO attacks?......and most importantly pakistan has allowed itself to be slandered hence losing the war of perception, hence giving the afghans a reason to hold animus against pakistan... that is the biggest loss, that in the eyes of the afghans doing this to pakistan seems legitimate!!

afghans must understand that if they are so war ravaged, so beaten down then why are they picking fights over the durrand line? this is not the talk from a beaten down war ravaged people, but from people who want to pick a fight.....

therefore pakistani's must understand the afghan mentality, that even when they are getting killed, humiliated and decimated by the us forces they STILL MANAGE TO FIND TIME TO CRY ABOUT THE DURRAND LINE.....this should be a compelling and disturbing fact, i am not suggesting strong action, but its something to ponder...

note that even though pakistan has suffered a lot due to the manufactured war on terror they have not suffered as much as the afghans....yet the amount that they have suffered has compelled many to re-evaluate their assumptions on india.....so much of the young generation just want to get on in life as best they can....yet the war ravaged afghans want to rehash the durrand line and conquer peshawar...this is the sort of animal pak are dealing with....

Please dont drag India in this .... India has nothing to do about it

Two of the most "martial" races on earth sorting out their ugly matters by indulging in acts of raw mardangi, Now that is some interesting stuff.... :tazz:
