CHENGDU REPORTEDLY ACHIEVES MILESTONE IN JF-17 BLOCK-III DEVELOPMENT

:agree: but not at all speed, speed limit for agility/maneuverability is MACH 2.5 above that speed you will lose agility/maneuverability,prime examples are/were MIG31/25 and Sr-71

Hi,

There is less maneuverability at mach 2----best maneuverability is speeds between 300---450 knots.

But has some maneuverability at least at 4 to 5 Gs
Sir, can you tell me some details about value of 'G' in different aircraft.......... some has +9g value whereas some has 8 or lower??? can you explain this feature of an aircraft, please???

It depends different variables for diferent jets like weights fuel loads weapon loadout mission requirements etc etc its dynamic variables not fixed variables for any specific jet as for definition of G-LOC

Just curious if jf like mirage center line pylon can carry two 550 lb bombs not in side by side Config which is not possible due to landing gears but one at front and other behind it like on mirages

So block 3 brings ldp but what is jf recon pod? Or there is not much need left after f-16 dB-10 pods and older recon version of mirages ??

Or aselpod with data link capability to transmit picture to other assets and ground meets the requirement ??

Development of the ASELPOD is ongoing; for example, a two-way data-link configuration is being developed, this will enable the ASELPOD to double as an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solution in addition to its principal role as a targeting pod.

But then

Aselsan has other programs in the pipeline as well, such as a photo-reconnaissance pod derived from Terma’s Modular Reconnaissance Pod, and a tactical synthetic aperture radar (SAR) reconnaissance pod. Whether the PAF would opt for these solutions is another story, but these are options

PAC is now also taking care of and developing / maintains alternate mission equipment for all aircraft including f-16 per paf book so that why pylons for aselpod also pac share of work something started on mirages and evolved into other Platforms especially jf as its new program
