Two explosions hit Istanbul's Atatürk Airport, 36 dead 140 injured reported

@Irfan Baloch @Paksanity Very well said.

To my Turkish & Pakistani brothers:

It is not only sad, but extremely depressing, to see two great nations suffer so much. In this holy month, I can only pray that Allah Almighty restores peace and prosperity, to both of my brotherly nations, and rids them of terrorism forever.

Stand Tall!!

Turkey, a Conduit for Fighters Joining ISIS, Begins to Feel Its Wrath

PARIS — When the bodies of Islamic State fighters are recovered on the Syrian battlefield, the passports found on them have often been stamped in Turkey, which thousands of recruits pass through on their way to join the terror group.

Fighters who call relatives abroad often do so using Turkish cellphone numbers, and when they need cash, they head to Western Union offices in southern Turkey, according to court and intelligence documents.

From the start of the Islamic State’s rise through the chaos of the Syrian war, Turkey has played a central, if complicated, role in the group’s story. For years, it served as a rear base, transit hub and shopping bazaar for the Islamic State, and at first, that may have protected Turkey from the violence the group has inflicted elsewhere.

Hahahah "real deal of the Middle East". Yes Iraq is the real deal in the Middle East: failed country, failed government, failed people (duped by their leaders) and a failed military (minus the boys from Golden Division- but they are hardly the majority). Thanks for accepting reality at long last my friend

Stay strongs dear Muslims of Turkey.
Turks should learn lessons from the situation of Pakistan.
...
Anybody who has some insight will agree that this kind of terrorism CANNOT be defeated with bombs and airstrikes alone.

Just like Pakistan,Turkey cannot secure each and every airport, school, university and public place in the country.
We are facing a situation in which there is absolutely no shortage of mentally sick individuals ready to blow up themselves in our cities and they certainly have no shortage of targets.
...
Also,it's very important to realize that terrorists will always be getting ideological support from within our populations because of secular/liberalism extremists.Liberal extremism is used to justify religious extremism.

Liberal extremists educate people and present progressive ideas. They don't kill. Don't equate the two.

This was an external attack, but if Erdogan doesn't stop with his theocratic agenda - Turkey will soon have to deal with home grown terrorists.
The borders need to be manned/ sealed/monitored. Better checks at entry could have avoided this. ...

So far only one. Orher 3 ran away but can't run away long.

InshAllah our guys will get 'em dead not alive.
That's not how it works my dear.
Arresting facilitators alive is important as through them the whole chain gets exposed.
I won't be surprised if one or two foreign intelligence agencies are also found involved.
There have been relentless tries to destabilize and defame Turkiye since the Taksim square saga.

Mate, according to what i read, there was only 3 terrorists involved in the attack. All dead.

Imagine we get rest and peace next year we will catch up you and we will even surpass you within a decade from now!!!.

Iraq....the ex-vilayet.
Oh yeah Turkey used to be our backyard too one of our velayats and even your ancestors were soldiers at our will.

That's the thing. They never work alone. Who paid them, who bough, transported their blast vests and weapons, who transported them into Turkey and who told them the exact time and spot of attack as they specifically targeted Arab and Turkish passengers.
There have to be a whole chain f helpers and facilitators and financiers out there.
