OK you lost me there  . Whilst Indian stuff maybe popular in bangladesh the quality of Indian serials is just atrocious . There is a reason why Bollywood celebs and Indian women are hooked to Zee Zindage now Watching our Serials .:D
Its true some of your serials are just great, in my family only my mom used to watch tv and she only used to watch Zee Zindage, recently she expired due to cancer.

Lolz
That was entertaining. Thank you.

IFFFF the term India was made famous by BRITISHERS then either CHRISTOPHER COLOMBUS was a BRITISHER, or if your statements were true he would have named the native Americans HINDUS.
Why waste time discussing with idiots?

Don't you remember the East South Asia Company that enslaved us?

The NE states are non existent to Indian government (all you ever hear about is Punjab, BIMARU states) they don't share much in common with mainland Indians except for faith, even then it varies amongst them. 4 sides? Have you looked at the map lately or are you just another ignorant Indian?

My statement was in response to your "lonely" statement. If you want to take it in a littoral ha ha (literal) sense even then you have a sliver of Burma with massive neighboring Indian presence and the sea which is Indian controlled. Leaving geography aside, You must have got the gist, As your whole argument was based on your formulating the uniqueness of your culture, any fool can see that this is not the case. It is deeply intermingled with India. And I do not have the time to table this for you.

Sorry to hear about her loss. May she rest in peace .

CHRISTOPHER COLOMBUS
And how do you know he said " I am off to India"? Were you there when he set off? He may have used Ινδική Hispanic permutation of that.

Indus is an important river system
Yes to Pakistan where 93% of it flows, India and China with just 5% and 2% respectively. No idea how that becomes important to India.

Just in case you have comprehension problems have a look at this map below. Sky blue is Indus in Pakistan. Dark blue in India and red in China.

How can any one even argue with all your facts? You are correct Columbus was looking for Pakistan.

Indian serials are for women audiences, your male brain won't be able to fathom their charm!! :D

Haha, nice try. Whenever my mother comes across another one of your cheesy Indian serials, she'd spend a good minute laughing at the pathetic over-acting and the "hot' fat aunties you Indians seem to crave before turning the channel to a decent Pakistani drama.

Geography is the reason behind cultural aggression. :(

I guess its an evil consiparcy of you, me and Abraham Ortelius to disprove a Pakistani Think tank and refer Bharatvarsha as India, how evil of us

Except Persians, who actually coined the term Hindu, used it as a ethno-geographical term. It was not used in a religious context. Also, the word "Indus" is the romanised form of the Greek word "Indós" (Ἰνδός).

The discussion leads to the inevitable conclusion that what some might think of as "Indian" is, in fact, English, Persian, and Greek in origin. Ergo, a nationalist monologue based on this verbiage will only lead to a similar exercise in mythic hilarity that is white nationalism based on Mein Kampf.

If you stretch your logic a bit further, then there is no real nationality other than Africans.
Btw, like many other ancient civilizations India also has many names, "Bharat" is also our official name and regularly used in every Indian languages, just pick up any magazine or newspaper in Indian languages to check.

However, that's not the topic here.

Why do you blow your top so easily?
I mean how do you know Colombus didn't say he was going to INDIA? We both are born in this century...none of us is a dinosaur here...atleast I am not.
Check the map given below. :)

Come on. This is just a discussion.

Why waste time discussing with idiots?

I doubt any one of you Bhartiya jack-asses have laid foot inside Bangladesh. Commenting from the comfort of your Internet chai-stall in Dharavi.

The last thing a Bangladeshi wants to be called is an Indian. Case closed.
