AhaseenA...Trust me,the last reason US wants is an ICBM in the hands of "terrorists" to take over our nukes...

Your statement is hilarious and those thanking you top the list of comedy troll characters.

Don't believe in hollywood action movies they are just Movies ok?
Now I don't trust you make me and others enlighten as how will terrorists take over any serious weapons and on top of it nukes.
Do you have the estimates of how many thousands of Pakistan Army men are scattered and in layers upon layers in specific radius covering all those installations. You don't even know those installation sites how do you even suppose terrorists will take over those areas.

West is worried because you ARMY officials are not immune from terrorist ideology because of their close proximity

West should not be worried anymore...NCA and SPD keep strict checks on the code of conduct and possible affiliation with anyone of the concerned officials...

Even though seperated, we are still brothers and connected in many ways, it's a special bond. You wouldn't understand.
Nice try though trying to degrade a fellow member of this board. :coffee:[/QUOTE]

And same goes with India right:sick:

ICBM is wonderful for Pakistan but our first priority should be , Space frontier and ability to send out sett-elites in space and perhaps ICBM would be something that could be developed in parallel

Most of current wars are being fought with Armies coming to border of nation and then air superiority establishment and then conventional invasion

ICBM is of course wonderful option but not urgent

If the satanic aid stops it will be a blessing in disguise. Just get rid of the trillion dollar corruption and your economy will be in good condition. Remember you can focus on rebuilding your house only if you have a strong front door; no country, no economy, period. Pakistan faces existential threat from its so-called ally.
And who is going to pay for the ICBM project, genius?

Bangladesh will certainly not.

I second that but just like you rightly pointed out we first need to get rid of this aid, and for that we need to bring our own house in order, get rid of the corruption and more so this corrupt morons we have as our leaders.

Dude you don't need to get personal, he is expressing his opinion as are we. In the end we are all on the same side. He is not saying anything against Pakistan, he just wants Pakistan to develop a strong deterrence. Lets keep it civil.

Exactly...this is the point...we all are on the same side, and want to see Pakistan developed and strong...

My friend, I have noting personal against him. It is just that he does not understands the current issues of Pakistan. Those (who are not in favor of ICBM project due to our current state of affairs) are trying to educate him but he does not listens and is indirectly trying to imply that these are somehow in cahoots with Indians and other potential enemies.

ICBM project is a not a joke or a small thing. It is a symbol of greater power but it has its strategic implications and responsibilities. Also, it is like a luxury item. Pakistan is currently in no position to go ahead with this project. We need a strong economy, stable environment, and a favorable geo-political situation for it.

We need to address our internal problems first; poverty, terrorism, economy, and corruption. This is awaam ki awaaz and not my saying only.

Adding to that Pakistan does have the capability to develop such tech, but for now when the heat is so much on our nuclear capability, the propaganda is on its highest and adding to that our domestic problems which you rightly pointed out, ICBM should be and would be the least of our priories.

Actually what T-Rex has said, seems to reflect a proactive approach like the one Iran has embraced and his has a valid point here. . Show them your military strength and the global community under the ultimate leadership of Uncle Sam will sit down like the Ocean foam. However, after Osama DRAMA, our political, economic situation is no longer favoring such an adventure.

What I am trying to say is,US is looking for a reason...US is like a "Saas" who trys her best to find defects in the "Bahu",no matter how much the bahu trys to be good...
We already cannot convince anybody about the safety of our nukes...although they are very rather very very safe...

It has been proven and said any aggression on a large scale against Pakistan would lead into a world war. There are multiple parties at stake.
Now is not the time for US to even start a conflict unless they want to triple their economic debt and failures.

The fall out would be greater the conflict will over drive and scatter well into neighboring countries on East and West and non of them wants the War.

We are not convincing and do not need to anyone we've a solid well in number nuclear weapons and are increasing.

North Korea has survived for the last 59 years. Iran has survived for the last 32 years. Pakistan will also survive there are no doubts about that.
The more US alienate nations the more US is going to get alone in the long run and the next super power China is getting all the attention and might with which it is growing; US will have no significance in coming years whether we keep deep relations or not with them it would be similar to Pak-Russia limited relationship.

Pakistan should obviously get an ICBM; it would send a strong signal to western nations that they can no longer bully other countries.
An ICBM would also increase Pakistan's prestige in the international community in the field of science and technology.

Only time will tell....
