Interesting!
I wonder why India went for Javelins

Did Ra'ad, Babur, Nasr and others came into being with links provided before they were shown to the world or did the links start to appear about them once they got tested.

Yeah and No.

Rumors are gotten from people who have some kind of inside knowledge either through friends, family members/relatives etc etc.

And we have quiet a few members on this forum whose rumor became reality.

Just for an example, i believe it was the same member or some other one who had told about the coming Al Nasr missile test, and in a few days time, the test did really happen.

Pakistan is looking for more advanced ATGM options, either through internal sources or may be from somewhere abroad. Lets see what comes out of it.

You guys make it quiet suspicious, but hey isnt India informed prior to tests as per the agreement?

That agreement is about ballistic missiles only, it does not covers cruise missiles or other kind of things.

Just Ballistic missiles.

Hmnn I see... So teh development is on I guess, I would very much love to see Asia being self sufficient in such things... Good luck guys...

yeap, there had been some news that they are working on it. perhaps and NESCOM project with AWC involved.
the under development missile is said to have some features brought from HELLFIRE missiles/ turkish influence is also reported!

The reason why PA did not go for any other ATGW was the performance of Baktar Shikan up to 4 kms. Simply lethal with 95 % penetration power upto 900 mm of armor, Kombat is also there so another good system at disposal. Add TOW1 and 2, HJ-8L and you have it all pretty much covered so no need for spending on an already covered area. But i have heard, there is a fire n forget missile under development,

that was the area that was not covered. and yes, you have heared it right, as we have discussed above, it is under development.
for a change, it have no Chinese links and is an indigenous product somewhat like HELLFIRE. some Turkish assistance is also reported.

at this time, they are really keeping it a secret, perhaps the development work is not as fast as one would have liked due to funding issues and that why there is not much discussion about this system~

regards!

Is it possible that Pakistan joined into developments of Turkish AT missiles to develop/prduce own version of them ?

it will be a good development, specially if PA opts for T-129 as there new attack helicopter.
however, the missile i know about is an ingenious effort. like mentioned above, it is development by Pakistani scientists and is some what impressed from the HELLFIRE missile.
however, there are some reports of Turkish assistance, this may be when we faced some difficulties in some of mechanism we went to our Turkish friends for a piece of advise. overall its a total Pakistani product!

regards!
