What's new

4 countries that want ISRO to fail

Absolutely enjoying the meltdown from across the world.

That's so bad, we will do it again 🙂

On the positive end, the CH3 mission has received more international coverage than Indians might have expected
Yeah, it was covered by most international news agencies including Pakistan.

It's funny that mainstream Western media describe the recent events as “India vs Russia moon race”, but no one in India see it that way. Most Indians wish Russian mission succeed

Yes, unfortunately, Western media has not missed the chance to poke fun at the Russian space agency.

Ofcourse, Russia is our best friend, we learnt quite a lot of science from them

If you go to Chinese space related threads, most Indians even don't wish any chinese to fail. Its only chinese folks that come to our space and science related threads with malice in their mind.

It's not a meltdown

Everyone knows it's PR exercise by India and little more,

They don't get the Hindu WhatsApp version of news that Indians do

So for the world

It's
Monday - Gang Rape in Manipur
Tuesday - hindutva riots
Wednesday - poverty
Etc etc

They all know their countries give aid to India
Some to safeguard women, others children

Then 50 years after the U.S land a man in the moon, here comes india and lands a small probe

Then they make a big deal about it

All these westerners are thinking why they are giving billions in aid to help needy in India and Indians are spending money to send a probe to the moon?

Which western country is giving aid to India and how much in 22-23?

India's net aid to foreign countries stood 2.2 billion dollars around the same period.

Ohk...some 50mn, India in 2011 itself made it clear to them,we dont need it, its a peanut...may b it is required for UK to donate something as part of its foreign aid policy...it has no meaning....if tomorrow India donates 100mn to US political party or to some charitable trust, India can not claim US receives Aid from India and they should not spend too much on NASA..

Those who want this mission to fail, What value will this failure bring to them?

This is all foreign aid.

Products and services are bought by the providing country from itself to hand out to the recipient nation.

India isn't handing out $2.2B/year for countries to buy from Aus/China/EU/US. It's money it is giving it's domestic companies.
