Why Imran Khan's removal can lay the foundation for the fragmentation of Pakistan.

Punjab se Pani band hojae to in ki aqal thekhane ajaegi ...

P.S I am not a punjabi but I do feel Punjab is a very accommodating province compared to rest of Pakistan that is a racist hell hole.
Punjab mein pani kahan sey ata hy šŸ§

This is not an exageration but an eventuality that could very well happen. I have come to the conclusion not only because IK is the only national leader we have at the moment and Maryum and Bilalwal are restricted in support within their provinces but there is a history to this in our country.

Lets go back to the election between Fatima Jinnah and Ayub Khan. Fatima Jinnah was perhaps the only politician from West Pakistan having any traction in East Pakistan. Her loss and the subsiquent rigging allegations paved the way for Awami League to exploit the sentiments of Bengali youth at the time and appeal to them that their os no one in West Pakistan capable of looking after their interests.

Fatima Jinnah's loss and the violence there-after also left a deep impact on Karachi politics and that memory was exploited by the likes of MQM 2 decades later.

Now coming back to the present, IKs primary support base is KPK. Pakistan especially KPK is experiencing a youth bulge. If IK is removed, do you see any other politician from Punjab who can connect with the youth there. Maryum has already shown her Punjabi Nationalist tendencies and Bilawal is a lost cause.

PTM might have fizzled out but it is clear that if IK is removed from the scene, those young bloods who are looking for a cause might find someone else who they connect with more on a personal level. Especially if the feeling is that IKs removal is the collusion of powerful interests who keep backing a Regional Punjab-based party despite repeated instigations.
It is all because Imran Khan was supported blindly and endlessly by the establishment otherwise how big a leader he is was evident from the seats he had won before 2018!

He was given seats won by MQM in Karachi, PML in Punjab and Molana in Baluchistan. Subsequently, all the by-elections (fair) and LG elections are a glaring reality of how popular Imran Khan really is but the creativity of you guys is just astonishing. I had read a lot of BS but this height of nonsense that Pakistan will disintegrate if IK is removed, this is a new one by all standards!!!

All other sub nationalisms have roots even before partition as a chunk never wanted Pakistan to begin with

Most of us just sat there and became "Pakistani" overnight, its not comparable to the shaheeds of Punjabis and Muhajirs who actually sacrificed their arms and legs to come to Pakistan. I think it is more of an indifference and ethnonat parties try to take advantage of that.

First tell other Pakistanis to stop claiming that they are Pathan/Kashmiri when they are not and using our history as a flex on other groups. Since that will never happen its not possible to separate XD

Benazir and Nawaz weren't "national leaders" tho
Lahore was burning because of her death though, that shows she had a national appeal, same for Bhutto
Zardari is a different case not a national leader

2- Only Urdu speakers or hameed gul types pull that crap (basically economic migrants of British era who assimilated)
native clans do not do that cause they have power due to Thier clans
If they start claiming others than they lose all that power or connections that come with it
for kashmiris it's similar to hameed gul types people - economic migrants from 1800s who assimilated but due to last names they do have that connection

Although kashmiris are powerful because of PMLn, they look after each other

My family history in J & K was different from what others had
Sacrifices were made to earn the freedom we had with massive loss of life
How we view Pakistani nationalism is different from how others view it and that's fine but to form a national cohesion one can't rely on force alone forever (although its needed as proven by China, Russia and Turkey)

In real life its a different story har koi quarter or tenth pathan hai. I can see where you are going with the Kashmiri thing.

Hindkokhwan and "Pahari" are dialects of Punjabi who named them as different languages?

He was number 2 even before 2018 if it wasn't for chutiya iftikhar even 2013 would've been his as for by elections I do wonder why you conveniently ommit Kashmir and GB

Aur by-election ki baat karni hi hy to even now in KP PTI won over maulana home seat

Yea I feel you problem is Pakistan is a mitti pao halwa poory qom so there's no national incentive to actually highlight the atrocities your ancestors faced. If the rest of the populace got exposed to that and learned about it, we can all kind of be on the same page.

There should be Islamic Presidential system with elections held every 5 years. With the Objectives Resolution as the guiding principle and the Islamic Constitution written by Taqiuddin An Nabhani as the basic document which is based on the old Ottoman Constitution before it was westernized. A referendum should be held under the supervision of the army for this.

For all the pro-ethno nationalists - imagine the day when punjabis wake up from slumber and form a party based on ethnic lines. A province thats safe and accomodating for all ethnicities could turn to garbage. Then you will get the taste of your own medicine. I hope that day never comes though.

Bismillah g.

I am all for punjabi nationalism.

These baloch and pashtun ethno terrorists with their sindhi minions always keep barking against Punjab and Punjabis who are in fact most accommodating than any other ethnicity in Pakistan except maybe urdu speakers in Khi.

It is about time we need someone to counter these ethnic thugs. Punjabis have the numbers and facilities in place.

In fact , I would be happy if Punjabis flood Khi and form a union with us against terrorist Pathans and Sindhis.

That will never happen, at best anti Afghan refugee sentiment will go up.
