India Set to Launch 'Game-Changer' Gisat-1

Hope they have a quick investigation review as the heavier gslv mark 3 is marked for launch in a few months.
Though design is different and gslv mark3 has a 100 % success record, the loss in continuity of the launches can be a issue.

I think Mk2 has to be retired like the ASLV. It's too much of a problem child. Mk3 has better record than Mk2. Mk3 engine also was wholly developed in India, while Mk2 it was half and half effort.

Thankfully the next 4 satellite launchers are 2 pslv , the new sslv and a gslv mark 3.
The 5th is the gslv m2.

Agree fully. He is not a dynamic person and lacks control.
A good technical man , he headed the launcher division for quite a few years , is not necessarily a good overall leader.
Doesn't inspire confidence.

1st & 2nd stages managed well so 98% success, 2% anomaly ?

For the hans here, China had 3 failed launches in the last 12 months.
We dont hide our failures and casualties.

But Chinese did not boast any of their launch as so called "Game Changer".

By the way Chinese has 28 launches so far this year, 2 launches from a private space startup failed. So learn to be humble, and that will serve as a real "Game Changer" for India.
