Zimbabwe arrests two Pakistani suspects

Likewise my friend. I am also under assignment here on investigative assignment in Botswana and live regularly in SA and Zim. If indeed you were based in SA, you would definately know that motto which reads that "things in Africa happen and change overnight". Your perception of Zim and its police force seems to be outdated by at least 3 years. Take it from me. You were here. I am here.

Fair enough, then tell me why international observers and consultaive visits are not being allowed in Zim?

So by that analysis:
The seven million Pakistan's living abroad are all gun toting, bomb making terrorists? ... Use some logic, the actions of one cannot be used to judge the fate of many!

Source please!

So why don't anyone in your society is willing to come up and cleanse your society of all those anti-social elements. In the end its you ppl who have to clean your home, not anyone else.

You didnt understand me... ny way
Since it concerns you can you define the word terrorists?

A terrorist is one who participates in terrorism. Bomb attacks, attacks on Buildings and People are terror. (Time Square,Marriot Hotel,Spain Bomb Attacks,Bomb Attacks in the UK; do you note Pakistanis are involved in those, too?)

Like any other sovereign nation, the Zimbabwaens will screen any visitors to their nation. Some western hyped up wannabe politician wants to stand on the soapbox in Europe, America or Britain and threaten Zim and thereafter expect to be given the red carpet treatment when they get to Zim will find that no African country has that much patience. Furthermore, if you read my earlier post, you will note that there has been a change of government in Zim. A major change too at that.

Back to the point, even during the days of Mugabe, the Zim police never lacked credibility when it came to crimes of international focus. To simply put paid to the theory that these 2 suspects are innocent because they were arrested by the Zim Police is stretching your loyalty to your fellow citizens arrested in Zim a bit too far. I would suggest that you wait a few more days. If these guys are innocent then they will be released and thereafter you will be justified in criticising the credibility of this operation. As a purported intelligence operative however, you should be aware that news of arrested "big wig' criminals are usually immediately released to the media to enable any persons who have further information on the detained suspects to step forward and assist in the investigation. It certainly is not done so to score brownie points or to enable the investigators to earn "cedibility". Therein lies my problem with your initial post

Typical (self centered and inward) ... No i was referring to the credibliity of Zimbabwe... Check my posts and if you have a suitable rebuttal then come back to me...

you are lying....

this was what you quoted in reply when the point was raised by me for six men arrested for passport racket in S.APakistani ...

I hope that indian's will stop taking pot shots at Pakistani's on a Pakistani fourm. If you can't be neighbourlike then please refrain from posting such flamers!

Because that is what they incite, flamers. Why is it that all of a sudden there is so much attention from you guys on what happens to Pakistanis?

and this incident....

Seven held for hacking online passport software - CIOL News Reports

where do you mention the credibilty of Zimbabwe in my reply ?? dont say you mentined it in another post of yours adressing another member...

sorry ,but this is not expected of a Think Tank....I have wasted my time replying to you....wont make this mistake again....live in self created dreams..

Have you been keeping up with the news?

Pakistan is a leading nation on GWOT: It has committed a very large number of its military to the western border with Afghanistan and has conducted anti terrorist operations in SWAT, NWFP, Baluchistan, Sindh and now Punjab.

In the Last six months Pakistan has killed 800 militants and lost 89 soldiers and 400 civilians:
<<:::(PIPS) Welcome to Pak Institute For Peace Studies:::>>

Pakistan is committed to the SARC Police project and is one of the largest contributor of counter terrorism and human trafficking Intel to Interpol and Rewards for Justice.

Pakistan was one of the first countries in Asia to install SABRE and Biometric scanning for incoming traffic which is sent directly to the FBI field office in Islamabad and shared globally.

In the civil society Pakistanis have initiated projects to shun terrorism:
YEH HUM NAHEEN | Say No To Terrorism with over 6 Million signatures on a petition condemning terrorism in all its forms.

Organisations like Rozan.org - Home are working with the government and army to rehabilitate young child soldiers who were brain washed and groomed to become potential suicide bombers.

You have been civil and answered my question with logic unlike some, so thank you for that. I await the outcome of the pending investigation.

Thank you for the discourse.

I must appreciate your obvious condemnation of terrorism. My only problem with your post above is that it is not disputed and can never be disputed that the Pakistani establishment uses terrorism or sometimes couched as "freedom fighters" for its goals. The current problem started when the Pakistani establishment attempted to twarth Soviet dominance in Afghanistan. Once the Soviets were out those so heavily armed cadres would obviously seek a new cause for Islam and the finger was pointed by them at Uncle Sam who regrettably happened to be your wallet. One would have expected the Pakistani nation to realise that this policy was a cancer as the Pakistani nation was given to accept that terrorism was acceptable in certain instances and for certain causes. Instead that policy has not shifted. You create the problem and later you start heavily investing in order to contain the problem. That really makes no sense to me

Thank You for this defination..
You are so naive that you cannot differentiate b/w taliban terrorists and Pakistan.
This whole WoT is for what purpose, who is the major ally in this Uncle Sam's led WoT.
If Pakistan is terrorist then your Uncle Sam is supporting us.. Uncle Sam is a terrorist aswell.

Dont you see any act of terrorism inside Pakistan? or Pakistans acts against Terrorism?

its not my fault if you are so ignorant and its not my duty to educate you.

Tell me why the majority of terrorists is always pakistani!
And doing operations against terrorists after huge international preussure is no big deal

Oh but one would be a fool to deny the obvious.

You know it's normally nice to back up statements like that with facts and figures, and sources. Makes your argument more concrete.

Guys. There really is no need to hurl insults and behave like adolescent teens in posting. Please take a few seconds to read your posts before hitting the "Post Reply" on your screen. This forum is for civil engagement and not for hurling abuse.

what about hundred thousands in Afghanistan? Iraq?
Tell that to Uncle SAM he has attacked the wrong country.:pop:

Well the Big Deal is that Pakistan has started the operations against Talibans and has succesfully finished it...
unlike NATO including good for nothing Germany still getting their ars-s beaten up in Afghanistan.

for more info on that search PDF and read topics on Pakistan's War on Terrorism.
