I find it funny that some people are claiming 'Pakistan' in him. He has nothing in common to pakistan, his way of life, values, habits you name it, its all british just like any other native brit.
In fact if he were to ever dare shoot such a video in Pakistan, it will be blasphemy/haram. Lol
There are still a few number of Pakistani british citizens(on paper) who still identify themselves with their home country in all aspects/tradition/values though, but this guy is not one of them at all.
He is "British-Pakistani". Similar to British-Afro-Caribean or British-African. The latter don't exactly live in mud huts do they? They live like rest of Britains but still get hypenated as -African. And he is Yorkshireman to boot like meself so that's extra points in my book.
I never said just visiting Pakistan is proof that you love Pakistan. Its all about sense of belonging and feeling of emotional connection/attachment with Pakistani roots and associating yourself with it no matter where you live is count which i did not witnessed in any interview or statement of of zayan as he consider himself British celebrity not Pakistani
It look like hello will become 2nd most views video after gangnam style

The bottom line is he is "British-Pakistani". He is similar to 10,000s youngsters from the British Pakistani community in UK which is evolving. British-Afro-Caribeans or Africans don't have to visit or shout "Viva la Africa" to be identified as British-African. Zayn Malik increasingly is the face of the newer generations of British Pakistani's.
