President Zardari donates 2.5 million rupees for PM Flood Relief Fund

LONDON, Aug 7 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari has donated an amount of 2.5 million rupees towards Prime Minister Flood Relief Fund. This was announced by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hassan on Saturday here at the launch of fund raising appeal at Pakistani High Commission. Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari launched the campaign and flood relief accounts have been opened in different UK based Pakistani banks to enable people to deposit their donations.

Sorry bro but he ain't my president. I will go along with his Charade because the state of the nation is dire, but that does not mean i support or condone his conduct in office.

Personal Life= i don't care about, but in office he is the nations servant, and should act like it.

Ration for Ramadan will be distributed among 200 families initially. Families will be able to utilize these items for a few weeks.

1) Wheat flour 20 kg bag

2) Rice 3 kg

3) Sugar 1 kg

4) Tea ½ kg

5) Ghee 1 kg

6) Date ½ kg

Now our cost for the above mentioned items will be (In Rs);

1) Rice 3kg x 200 ---- 36000

2) Ghee 1kg x 200---- 22000

3) sugar ------14000

4) Tea ------24000

5) Flour ----- 100000

6) Dates ----- waiting for the rates.


See now you can imagine how much items can be bought with this amount and how many more people will get relief with this..

Seiko, the money is going to the PM relief fund... I doubt it will reach the public until Q4 2010.

So nothing to write home about.
