While the identity of the buyers remains a closely-guarded secret, estate agents specialising in high-end London properties have reported a recent wave of inquiries from the Middle East and Nigeria, on the back of rising oil prices.

The British newspaper seems to be unaware of the purchaser.
Besides, if he is smart enough to gather so much money, he must also be smart to tell when to spend and where to spend. With the current situation of pakistan, may be it is just some kind of propaganda/rumor. Easy to believe though!

Is there any solid proof that he purchased it? I don't think I've seen anything to suggest he is the owner.

No confirmation in the Western press, nothing to back up he's the owner apart from a suspect email flying around.

Perhaps it's more rumour-mongering than anything else.

Probably hasn't seen the need to yet, nor has his spokesman Babar. I'm sure if it gets increased publicity there will be a response. At the moment it's a story that seems to have died before catching any wind.

I think the minimum , that is required is that the law should investigate Mr Zardari

a) Income questions where this income came from
b) Taxation paid
c) Money laundring questions , why he is moving millions out
can this be used for terrorist activities just like most of us
get asked when we send 100-200 bucks

I don't like the idea of our country's head of state building a property bonanza with Pakistan's federasl reserves.

State of govern have income defined , if he has $$ in excess of what his income is Tax collectors should confiscate the millions

Well estimated cash wealth of Mr Nawaz is over 1.4 billion while Zaradari estimated cash wealth is 1.5 billion. I think i posted detail info while ago.
