This is what I worry about Pakistan the Soviet Union was always a economic mismanaged place but it was at least 2nd world by the 1960s and the Soviets were the 2nd largest economy in the world until the Japanese overtook them in 1988 also interventions in Afghanistan and other regions of the world costed them alot did not help Carter and Reagan went on massive arms race that killed the Soviet bear.Pakistan on the other hand is much poorer and I worry about it nukes are an insurance but not a toy we need to have modest economic growth
