There's a rumor a second prototype was built. I'm hoping the program gets sped up need to replace Russians Mi17 and produce a naval variant for ASW.

In a long run but for the next 10 years I doubt Mi-17/171 would be replaced completely they are still excellent for troops carrier. The programme surely is ambitious.
