Why so much discussion over helmet. Are people really implying that a country with defence budget of about $50 Billion can't afford to buy modern kevlar helmets :cheesy:

Okay...I think i have spotted something. The guys with Camo on their helmets are PARA and regulars dont have camo on their helmet.Correct me if i am wrong.

And this is also because the PARA have these helmets since a long time so they might have camouflaged it.

Hmm it's possible, these guys are from the 50th (Independant) Para brigade so they could be one of the PARA (Airborne) btns that rotate out every few months or could be airbrone sappers/signals/logistics etc. It is hard to say for sure right now. But I think you are right- everyone with the camo cloth on their helmets belong to the 50th (Indepenadant) Para brigade-we just don't know which exact unit- and the others with the regular green helmets with no camo belong to the 99th Mountain brigade ie the Gurkhas and other units in this Brigade.

Well I was able to confirm some stuff...an unknown number of helmets got ordered from MKU...trying to confirm whether for CAPFs or regular army, 50,000 helmets got ordered from TAML for the army proper..buyer confirmed.

Well it's very possible then that TAML/TATA will be providing the helmets for F-INSAS as they (TATA) are already known to be involved in the project as far as systems and oth hardware are concerned. These 50,000 (if true) would most likely go to select units first (as is the case in every army- the most elite and important units get the best stuff first before it trickling down to the rest) such as the Independant PARA brigades (and all the units attatched to this birgade- PARAs, sappers, logistics, medics, signals etc).

What makes china nervous? Well its india america and japan together.... Its a future. Democratic world vs communist tiny china who been offered military cargo plane by america (just to make fun of china).... Lovely pic. This what you will see in war. Indian american flags together side by side.... no country wants china to grow. Everyone wants piece of china. Blame on idiotic chinese president who done things without thinking of future. Taking on mighty india is digging own grave.... 1962 gone. This is modern era. India a power who ready to burst any idiotic nation who tries to be over smart.... Btw beautiful outfit indian army wore.

The SF and then the Para and strike corps elements would be my guess.
