What's new

Your Current Hobby?

Bro you should listen to Uighur traditional music. There was one guy in Xi'an he looked like a typical pathan with big moustache. Whenever I visited him he used to to play this guitar and sing. It was truly amazing I wish i recorded him. Even though we couldn't understand eachother but being Muslim was enough to have a trustable relationship he even invited us to his home and gave us to smoke traditional uighur hookah. It was so strong I couldn't see for a few seconds. I thought it would be like shisha so I inhaled too much smoke and almost fainted. Haha

Thats beautiful.....
My love for turkish music is newfounded, this is what started it

Yes, indeed lovely music in that show. My knowledge of Turkish improved very much when I watched it. I have still not made a trip to Turkey, but in sha Allah I will go soon.

Ma sha Allah, lovely story.

I met some Uyghurs in the early 2000s in Raiwind. I got to sit with them and get to know them. I was so impressed by their hospitality and devotion to Islam. Some could not speak Urdu or Punjabi, but we communicated via hand signals and as best as we could through some common words. Others had been in Pakistan for some time.

This is my other pastime - designing various communication arrays.

This is a hf, vhf, uhf combination in a stack on a 11m tower. Hf allows me world wide communications via SSB, CW - lately building up a few converter to allow me to use digital mode of communication with very low power. VHF - that is 50Mhz - look for openings for meteor scatter or sporadic E openings. Have managed many DX 'long distance' on VHF up into Europe, south america as well Australia.

It is a pity, it has been a very very long time since i heard AP station. I know there are a few operators but pretty quiet.

They are very hospitable people. You will find same cultural traits across in Kirgizstan as well as Uzbekistan.

I don't have a specific hobby but I have special interests. I have a great interest in natural medicines and dietary supplements which are very important for your health especially your gut since most of us are not getting sufficient nutrition due to lack of vitamins, protein and other important minerals required by our body. Some of the best herbal supplements includes ATP Octane, GI Repair, Apple Cider Vinegar ACV, Vitamin D3 and Brain Bright DTX. I also want to create awareness among the people about the gut health.
