young doctors strike , what do you think about bycotting emergency?
i am really against nwaz shareef but on this issue i totally support a hard stance has to be taken against thse young doctors
terminate their govt jobs and notify pmdc so they get a strike against their oath to this profession

Everyone has right to express their feeling if abused but it should not hurt other innocent people. Emergency services like fire fighters, police, and medical services can't be stopped / blocked just for pressuring the Govt. to get desired result. They are hurting people not Govt.

Young Doctors seem to become a mafia like Lawyers and state is behaving like bananas republic. Supreme court should look into what is going on here and why time to time these so called young doctors came out on streets.

Get your facts straight!!! no one boycotts Emergency otherwise dozens of people will die by hours , We only Boycott Outpatient and wards

after every month or two they start protesting for personal motives & block roads, boycott emergencies & wards. All of these selfish so called doctors should be terminated immediately.

i do have the facts straight mate its u that has to honor the oath remember the one where u treat all patients irrespective of race , religion etc
fact patients have died , period and its on you, not the govt although i am against them but this is definately on you
also outpatients and wards should,nt be bycotted either

Do you even know what happens in Emergency and what happens in OPD , I said that that no one has ever boycotted the Emergency and that's a fact , In government hospitals People die every day if not every hour , and if you are saying that government looked past our negligence that they let it go that somebody died because of strike than you should come for checkup .... because what you wrote it shows that government showed leniency towards the Doctors even though they cause deaths ....LOL... are you talking about the same government which shelled the protesters few days back....LOL .... no one has ever died from boycotting OPD and in Wards there still remains doctors though senior Doctors have to hold the fort
P.S There still remain doctors in OPD so it isn't a full strike like you are thinking though no one can keep the hospital fully running in absence of doctors

Doctors are getting their Medical degree by Paying fee of 5 Million in private Universities other than few Govt. Universities. What do you think they should do then ?
They have paid equivalent to the lifelong salary of lower grade Govt or Private worker.
Every year 2.4 Million Student appear in Lahore Board Fsc exam Alone and for the sake of argument let's just say only 10% gets 80%+ marks which make it 2.5 Lakh students with good marks and hopes of very bright future and in Govt universities got only 2k or so seats for them then they have to get to Private universities if they can afford. Just this year KE merit list's last seat was on 96% marks.
When Education is being sold that high of price after doing all hard work then don't ask them to obey any oath.

so ur saying lower the standards further?
in private medical colleges u can get admission at 60%
also have a look at young doctors most of their hierachy comes from private medical schools

also whats that got to do with the current situation?
if u select ur proffession as one of the essentials like medicine and or armed forces there is no holiday or bycott
next time u would expect army to bycott ???? is that even plausible ???

WE HAVE a law in india for such incidents.

The Essential Services Maintenance (ESMA) is an act of Parliament of India which was established to ensure the delivery of certain services, which if obstructed would affect the normal life of the people. This include services like public transport (bus services), health services (doctors and hospitals).

HOWEVER due to political issues it is seldom applied.

This YDA is a mafia. Every second month they start protesting for no reason. They are highly paid with Rs.100,000 to Rs.150,000 in allowance per year.

Govt pays a high sum of money for them to be doctors, and when they become doctors, they start protesting or either leave the country. Country has already shortage of doctors and then this YDA mafia.

Last year when they had called for strike, GOP called army doctors to serve in hospital.
The only solution is to make new hospitals and a contract with each medical student to serve atleast 10 years in country before quiting.

They protesting coz their two comrade doctors get fired in an incident relating with messed up with a patient or family and during protest 15 other fired
Doing protest is alright boycotting wards ok but blocking various roads causing problems for thousands and boycotting emergency are just foolish acts.
