gwibber is shyt. i tried many ways, purged the whole damn thing in the end. I'm using tweetdeck for chrome, it works and u dont need adobe air.

oh well since i am not on FB or twitter so i dont bother it. but yeah i like chrome much more than FF in Ubuntu. Its very easy to sync with other comps using google id. though there is third party app for FF but i really do not like it.

You have to click 'start' to shut down windows :D,jokes apart, does anybody here suscribe 'chip' magazine ,they regularly dole out cool tricks for ubuntu

It does not download and on top of that none of the support numbers work. It says the number you have dialled is not correct. :lol:

The best thing about Linux is that you don't have to worry about installing the drivers... all the drivers including your Graphics card, sound card, internet and other built-in hardwares are pre-installed in your PC. IF there is any problem you always have an option to find the latest drivers for your machine. In my case i didn't have to :D

I wanted to get into some degree of virtulization and with VMware ESXi you really have to sacrifice one PC away so someone told me putting Linux based OS as the base OS and then installing a VMplayer (sort of like the desktop edition) doesn't cost any performance degradation.

Its working like a charm.

Better try oracle virtual box its much better for virtual drives and OS.
