What's new

You cannot quote from Quran in Pakistan!!!!

Is it just me or someone else also noticed it: Every time there is something against pakistan, its a indian person who posts it. And its always exaggerated.. anyone??!!

I'm not firing blind, did not the judge who convicted Malik Mumtaz Hussain Qadri end up having to flee Pakistan because of death threats? did not even other lawyers put garlands around around Qadri's neck and shower him with rose petals in court? There are Christians sitting in jail now charged with blasphemy who hang in limbo becuase even though the judiciary knows the evidence is lacking. They are afraid to go agianst the extremists.

Pakistan's blasphemy laws have left even judges in fear of their lives

Here is a article written by a professor at the University of Punjab That nails part of the reality of Pakistan today.

I haven't yet read the second link you post here, the scholarly article, but about Mr.Qadri the case is in the court and although everybody knows what he did,the matter has to go through legal system and proved in the court before any Punishment is handed out.
Happens all over the world,if you get yourself a good lawyer, they can bend the law in your favor.
He has been given death sentence already

Then his lawyers launched appeal and the case is under review.
So there you go,the judge wasn't afraid of giving him death sentence...But the trouble is that for People like Qadri death means nothing,so that isnt much of a punishment for him.
