After several cases of coronavirus emerged from the state of Uttar Pradesh, the UP government is set to convert the giant Aala Hazrat Haj House situated in Ghaziabad’s Arthala into a 500-bed isolation centre in order to avoid any further medical repercussions in the sensitive environment. The coronavirus has already hit the country infecting 31 patients and around 30000 quarantined.

On Thursday, the district administration of Ghaziabad and officials from minority board inspected the Haj house, which will be soon turned into an isolation centre for coronavirus patients. Chief Medical officer of Ghaziabad, Narendra Gupta and ADM city Shailendra Singh told that the UP government is very serious regarding the epidemic. The Haj house comprises large dormitory halls that will be converted into wards. The Haj house isolation centre will have a capacity of 500 beds to quarantine and cure the patients of Coronavirus.

A health advisory has been released by the UP government creating awareness among the people to prevent COVID-19 novel coronavirus to spread and not to panic.

It is reported that only serious patients will be kept in the isolation wards of the Haj house so that they can stay a distance from the reach of others and avoid others getting infected. The Haj house will be converted into a fully furnished isolation centre in two-three days.

The Haj House in Ghaziabad was built at the cost of Rs 51 crore in order to give assistance to Muslims on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia’s Mecca. The complex, spread over an area of 4.3 acres, has ground plus six floors and includes 47 dormitory halls and 36 VIP rooms, and can accommodate 1,886 persons. The house was inaugurated by the then UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadab in September 2016. It was sealed by National Green Tribunal in February 2018, due to lack of a Sewage Treatment Plant.

. . .
why 'rising' india lack fund and 'made in' india cannot make a hospital fast,as Chinese did.....

. .
However Yogi is hoping once this place is used to quarantine people future Hajis may not want o use it.
Hajj house is government property. Besides, Hajis can't use it, given the Saudis closed Makkah and put restrictions for visitors from foreign nations, India is on the list probably.

.
So a place dedicated for minorities and their religious rights will be made into corona virus incubation centre?

It's like Pakistan using hindu temples and churches for the virus quarantine.

Just saying ... The Pakistani government has just started to restore a few of the very old Hindu temples. The Hindus have not yet started using them & the control/ownership remains with the state of Pakistan. Would it feel ok to you if Pakistan starts using them as coronavirus hospitals and quarantine zones?

If it's all for humanity why not. After all most of the temples recovered in Pakistan have been used as schools for all these years. I would even support having schools till now just respecting the rules of the temples.

For humanity, yes, everything is acceptable. But what Yogi is doing is out of spite.

Temples are archeological sites and Pakistani government didn't build them for Hindus. That's been there for hundreds of years. Hajj house is constructed with taxpayers money by the government, for Muslims to have Haj pilgrimage. It's not a mosque, it's a goddamn rally point for Hajis before we put them on a bus to the airport.
It's a very convenient place it's big, it can house a lot of people, and it's away from other houses. Just saying....

What are you on about? Who would want to incubate Coronavirus in a hospital? It's a quarantined zone in case there is a virus spread and it's not a dedicated place, it's a place build and owned by the government or public.

Said temples are being restored for the use by the Hindus. Once restored they are handed over to Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC). Majority of the work is financed from the taxpayer's money. sure there is an added financial benefit to it but not enough to make a major profit from. But let's assume it is indeed not for use by the Hindus, then surely Pakistan can use them as quarantine zones. I can tell you what exactly would happen after that. The BJP propaganda machine would highlight the issue in India and rationalize it for vandalising Mosques and for killing Muslims. Practically, however, it cannot be done in Pakistan because the (1) the courts will not allow it, and (2) the society will not allow it. It is better, & in fact advised, to establish temporary hospitals that could be disbanded on a later date. Yogi might just destroy the Hajj camp once the virus threat is over. His actions are out of spite and politically motivated. But my original question, however, remains. How would you feel about it? (You don't need to answer it though).

You're drawing a false equivalence here. Those temples are historic sites, a Hajj house is a state-building, build and owned by the government. You don't need an essay to cover up a simple fact.

I would answer your question once you understand the difference.
