I think this is purely disgusting, there should be a law that states whenever any rally, protest, jalsas are going on and it doesn't matter who they're carried out by. In the case of emergency and for public safety routes should be made available and accessible for people to take aid in life threatening and serious situations, as well as police for general public use in their instance of personal emergency such as robbery/hostage or any other life threatening emergencies.
Public services should still be available and running.
If you know there's a Jalsa happening and there will be road blocks, alert the authorities of a route open and exclusive for public emergency.
Don't be stupid to block all routes and put people's lives at risks.
Get more police cover, one for security during these rallies and the other to cover normal service.
These are people's basic rights and they have every right to this.
I hope people can learn from previous sad incidents and be more organised and cautious in the future.
The common man can't afford sue covers, if they could, it'd be on a scale of Crore rupees of entitlement and yes these people can't be brought back, but funeral cover or the bread winner who was lost - finance can make things a bit more easy for necessary needs. As well as a kick up the backside for the Government and the holders of the Jalsas because it would cause them financial loss. That's the only way they will rectify things, once they are held accountable and know they have to pay for the damages. The media Needs to play a huge role in highlighting these issues and pressure the government to mould and change their ways and implement new safer changes going forward.
