A year after the Galwan valley clash in eastern Ladakh, China is still sitting at the Line of Actual Control (LAC) while India has geared up for a long grind.

Indian and Chinese military delegates have had 11 rounds of talks to resolve the border disputes at the friction points. The only thing that has happened is that both the countries have agreed to resolve the dispute peacefully.

The Indian Army has focused on being better prepared to face Chinese belligerence in Ladakh over the last year, as a final resolution seems far off.

India has enhanced military infrastructure, increased troop deployment to 50,000 to 60,000 troops, and constructed better roads to improve connectivity for quick force mobilisation.

The force continues to be on high alert with its enhanced troop deployment of over 50,000 men on the ground in Ladakh for the last one year, including during the harsh winter when the temperature dips to minus 40-degree Celsius.

Last month, Indian Army chief General M.M. Naravane had said that the troops are on high alert along the LAC, keeping a watch on the activities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

Naravane said that India wants the status quo ante of April 2020 to be restored. He also stated that India has made it clear to China that de-escalation will only be considered once disengagement is completed to the mutual satisfaction of both sides.

He said that Indian troops are on high alert and deployments have not thinned after the disengagement in Pangong River. The Army chief maintained that China has deployed around 50,000 to 60,000 troops in eastern Ladakh in immediate depth so India has also made mirror deployment in depth.

Even after 11 rounds of military talks at the Corps Commander level to find a resolution, there is still no breakthrough despite the disengagement in Pangong.

Indian and Chinese forces have met to resolve the border disputes at the other friction areas like Hot Springs, Gogra and the 900 sq km Depsang plains.

Naravane also said that Indian is currently concentrating on resolving the outstanding problems at other friction points like Hot Springs, Gogra and Depsang.

He had pointed out that India's stand during the disengagement agreement in the Pangong Lake area remained the same that the status quo ante of April 2020 must be restored.

The army chief also stated that trust levels between the two countries are low, but pointed out that the trust deficit should not hinder the negotiation process.

In the Galwan valley, where a bloody clash between the forces of the two nations left 20 Indian four Chinese soldiers dead on June 15 last year, including Commanding Officer Col Santosh Babu, the troops had concentrated at just 1.5 km apart.

Following the clash, the Patrol Point 14 became a 'no patrol zone' and both sides pulled back by 1.5 km each and the area turned into a buffer zone.

India had objected to China's observation post near Patrol Point 14 that had led to the clash.

The clash had sparked a war-like situation. By the end of August last year, there was a further build up across the broder and the Pangong Lake had turned into a battle zone, as India occupied the key mountain tops at the Kailash Range overlooking the southern bank of the lake.

Currently, no patrolling is being done till Patrol Point 14. It is necessary to maintain strict vigil through various surveillance methods to keep a check on Chinese activities as they continue to be present in big numbers, not too far away from the contentious point.

Further, China has also been enhancing its surveillance capabilities. It has developed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with plateau operation capabilities and has planned to deploy it along the Line of Actual Control with India in the Kailash mountain range, sources said.

China has also enhanced troops, artillery and armour in three sectors of the LAC -- western (Ladakh), middle (Uttarakhand, Himachal) and eastern (Sikkim, Arunachal).

India needs to make up a heroic cover story for the other.
Far more died with cold and hunger recently, never made it to the media, probably a few pages are needed for the pictures now.

After a year Indian military still can't produce a single picture or video from the Galwan clash.

Maybe 2 reasons:
(1)Embarrassing picture or video show Indian soldiers running away or getting beat badly
(2) PLA troops took away the cameras from Indian soldiers when got captured.

Here are a few undisputed facts that stick out like thorns on the side of propaganda.

1. NEVER does the winning side ever hide their fewer death count of its soldiers. There was ONLY one country that had to hide the deaths of its soldiers...and that was China
2. They AMBUSHED an unarmed patrol needing 100 Chinese soldiers to take on 20 unarmed ones. After they previously made agreements that all patrols would be A. unarmed B. no bigger than 20.
3.
They even had to create a special law that threatens its citizens with long jail terms for even questioning their military propaganda, AFTER Chinese net citizens called out the propaganda.
4. The heights are still owned by The Indians, seeing deep into Chinese territory
5. For a country (China) claiming the area as all their land- they backed off for Pangong lake.

You can troll the Indian dead soldiers here (whom they honored openly), but the fact remains the Indians killed so many of yours that you had to hide the deaths of your soldiers for nearly a year, and then obfuscate the numbers later.

You can't walk away from that narrative of cowardice, outside the great wall.

Ok I can accept everything India said if they can name the Chinese soldiers killed, or stop changing their story on the numbers, and provide some physical evidence like their serial numbers, captured weapons, video, etc.

I've never heard of a winning side being unable to prove their kill count or losing senior officers that should be in the rear. Or panic buying rifles lmao. Or admitting to losing 1000 square km of land.

So when will the Chinese boogey man cross the LAC ?

Why are Indian's pissing their pants for no reason huh?

If the Indian's won at galwan. Tell Modi Xi to atleast mention China by name...

Do Humiliated Indians like to make up bollywood fantasy or is a way to comfort a humiliation pain? Ambushed and unarmed?

Classic Chinese noggin. Here's where your school of propaganda fails you. IT IS a fact you guys were saying not a single Chinese was killed for a year, asking everyone for PROOF here. And then your CCP gave some obfuscated number of deaths after a year. There is the greatest proof right of 'hiding deaths' right from your mouths- a world-famous Chinese trait know to all.

Not a single winning side has ever been able to prove the total death counts when the enemy takes away their dead or refuses to acknowledge their numbers. Had the Indians not openly honored their dead, and refused to give out the numbers - you would have not had proof, because you have shown none.

The greatest humiliation is when you dishonored your dead soldiers and refused to acknowledge their deaths. No ambush, No bats, no selectively edited spammed Pics will ever take that stain of cowardice away from you guys.

Actually China had proof of dead Indians with PLA soldiers posing for photos in front of them. And video evidence of Indians starting it by ambushing 4 unarmed PLA negotiators.

Just like in 1962 where there were piles of captured Indian weapons.

Delusional Indian soldiers still can't accept the fact Indian soldiers are not like the Bollywood movies. China killed 20+ Indian soldiers and next day India banned 59 Chinese apps and Modi didn't even dare to MENTION China in his speech. He knows his soldiers are a joke after Galwan valley.
