What level? Sorry, the few thousand cars per year sold in Jordan certainly is not a yardstick. Most of the Mercedes sold in Jordan and other third world countries are BTW second hand cars that we export en masse.

Personally I like german, italian, Japanese and Korean cars. Only thing I wanted to say is Americans do know how to make good kickass cars. Bail out wasn't the result of poor cars, the stock price was too cold and they weren't doing well a business unit..

You are of course aware Japanese cars looked like cheese boxes (think Trabi or Yugo like), until Americans decided to buy them for superior gas mileage (which had previously never been a selling point). You know why they look sharp now? After American sales picked up, THEY HIRED AMERICAN DESIGNERS! (mainly for aesthetics though)

(and I don't mean took Americans to Japan, they had design divisions in US, mainly SoCal)

The one on the right is the Saudi Designed and made Gazal-1 the logo is because the picture was uploaded on ToyotaArabia website. I was just making fun of high fanboyesterone levels at this thread... And I wan't wrong either
