Xi's China rising, Trump's America waning

Sure, clearly you have no anti-China bias either right?

This is your entire problem. You have some egotistical need to be "top dog", whereas China never wanted or cared about that.

This is why American society is tearing itself apart, electing a psychopath who promised to "make America great again" by making America hated all across the world. And who would launch a nuclear war with North Korea as long as he believed the Trump family dynasty could benefit from it.

Someone who egotistically and narcissistically needs to be "top dog" can never accept their decline, even though it is inevitable. Hence the sad behaviour of America in the past few years, and in the last few days in which the entire world basically laughed in the face of American threats in the UN.

Now look at how even a rogue regime like North Korea can prick the American balloon so easily. Let's see how long Donald Trump can keep his cool before he sets North Korea on a path to a nuclear exchange with the USA. That is the end result of this war of egos.

Oh China definitely cares. China is in a geopolitical competition with the world, not just the US. Fortunately, the US is well positioned to maintain its status as a full spectrum superpower. The strong survive in this world, and the weak perish. That's how nature operates Dragon.

Sorry but only America cares, which is why Trump was elected based on the term "make America great again". :P

And take a look at the news reports of China becoming the largest economy in the world by PPP, do you know the Chinese government tried to shut down that World Bank report?

The Diplomat - China doesn't want to be number one

May 08, 2014

Last week, international media had a field day over the news that, based on a new World Bank report, China’s economy will be the world’s largest in terms of purchasing parity power (PPP) by the end of 2014. Yet China itself did not embrace the news. The World Bank noted in its report that China’s National Bureau of Statistics had refuted the methodology used and refused to endorse the report. In addition, China’s state-owned media were largely silent about the data and its implications.

Now, a report from Financial Times suggests China’s unease goes much deeper. FT, citing people who worked on the World Bank report, says that China actively tried to convince them not to use the data. “China wanted to throw this out,” a source told FT. “They begged and threatened for a whole year … China hates it.”

Not everyone has the ego of a Trump. In fact most of the world doesn't. Only the USA and North Korea.

China isn't fooling anyone Dragon.

Geopolitical competition is actually welcome, since it will embark the next era of US S&T advancement.

Absolutely, we're done for. The dollar will die before the New Year, and the "dark state" will engulf us all. The US economy will implode because PDF geniuses say so. I just hope the millions of immigrants are made aware before the end.

We must warn all intending newcomers to change their plans and not come here. :D

The rise of China will be a boon for US, will force it to be more competitive. It's been resting on its laurels since the end of the Cold War.
