No I am not. I met Uyghur people while I was in China and most of them told me their homes were being demolished and they were being rooted out from Xinjiang. This is im talking about 2006/7 ish. I do not know about now. I never said one million held but I did mention about concentration camp.

We surely know this, Xinjiang was at brink of total chaos with monthly attacks some years ago, and now the government brought the region back to peace and prosperity with zero terrorism, this region now enjoys double digit economic growth and booming tourism, with top infrastructure beating most western countries.

Why are Chinese here so apologetic about this? Just own up to it. Conservative religious crap doesnt belong in Asia or at least Indo-Pacific - future centre of the world. In fact every country in the region should follow China's example. Eliminating religion and other superstitious crap is important in modernizing a country.
