Xiaomi beats Samsung in Indian market

From the article:

"The smartphone was the hot topic of discussion among hi-tech fans because it is a Vietnamese product. Moreover, it was positioned as a high-class product with the high retail price of VND10 million.

However, contrary to all expectations, the first-generation BPhone received more criticism than compliments.

In January 2016, the BKAV decided to slash the price to VND7.9 million. No further information about BPhone appeared on the technological product market.

Most recently, in an expected move, BKAV the manufacturer sent emails to its loyal clients who have been using BKAV Pro, an anti-virus product of BKAV, for many years, announcing that the clients now can buy BPhone at the preferential price of VND3.9 million."

-------------------

Wow they slashed the price from VND 10 million to VND 3.9 million, and people still aren't buying it?

What happened @EastWind?

Are there plans to recalibrate the VND? Like make a new one with 1 = 1 million of the old or something.

Just surpassed it a little bit. Xiaomi have to make more efforts. Xiaomi is preparing for IPO in 2018. It's considered as one of the largest IPOs in recent years.
How big will be that IPO?

In price range, xiaomi fit Vietnam market, while Samsung definitely for developed countries.

It's not so surprising if xiaomi beat Samsung.

Oh my... that Bphone again...
Price, specs, and market share, please!
ok, in total according to Vietnam Customs, China exports $8.75 billion worth of phones and phone parts to Vietnam, with Oppo as the best selling smartphones. we export $7.15 billion worth of phone products to China in 2017. 800% plus compared to 2016. so there is a deficit with CN but much less than one may think.

The rapid industrial development of Song Hong plains today is closely related to the proximity of China supply chain. This fair recent development has elevate the status of Northerners, who was once despised by the pro USA south, as being yeoman.

The Song Hong plains grabs a large chunk of industrial investment in Vietnam, leaving the South with petrochemicals, banks and commercial activities.

If you are from North, you should thank China nowadays.

I am asking you to prove your Bphone shit... Why you show me this export of Foxconn made foreign brand phones/parts... This is irrelevant... Grow up, kid.
Where is your source backing your claim of Foxconn? bphone specs & market share are public and available to google. Grow little more boy.

Yes 4 less 0s, but is a sensitive topic. The public may not be ready for the move due to experience in the past. Maybe in few years.
