Xi Regime: US and China Must Be Friends

Guys, take it easy. China is not led by a single person. I think Xi is the best candidate that he has built up good relationship with all sides. So he can be a bridge between left wings, right wings and miltiaries etc. This is good so China won't be too polarized and the country will remain stable. The time that the country needs a strongman as a leader has long gone. As long as the society is stable the country can move forward with its own momentum. As to Xi, he has experienced hardship in rural area and understand China better than us. I don't think he will sell China's interest. His remarks made in Mexico showed a lot of nationalism. And even if he is a traitor :azn:, there're other powers checking against him.

I am very confident for China's next 10 years, who leads after him is more interesting.

Why we should hope that China's next leader is a big success

Cheers and happy musings to all~

Anyone supported by the Wall Street oligarchs, we should oppose.

EXACTLY!

if the chinese leader is hated by the west, then he should be the leader.
if the chinese leader is loved by the west, then he should never become leader.

i have read many western articles, most of them praising xi jinping, this proves to me, the west has this clown xi in their pocket.

i just read that xi wanted to open up the auto insurance market in china to foreign companies so foreigners can take market share away from domestic players. already signs this guy is selling out our country and our companies. he is more interested in pleasing these china hating foreign dogs than looking after the best interests of china. already bowing to american/western pressure. makes me sick.

xi jinping is a walking disaster.

from some of the comments i have heard from xi, u would think this guy is the president of the United States.

he is an american lover and china hater.

Hu Jintao was called a hardliner, silent, blank, no personality and repressive from the start, so I knew he was the right guy for the job.

Xi and Wang Qishan are called "humorous" by the westerners, so they are 100% in the pocket of the oligarchs.

What was Xi supposed to say? That he was going to destroy United States?

Do you go to somebody you don't like and tell him you wish him dead? Of course not, you keep your basic manners despite wanting to stab his eyes out.

Wang Qishan really not more suitable for being a leader than Xi for his bad guy looking in chinese eyes, otherwise maybe he will be the premier minister stand by Xi.

LOL at Chinese forum members' over-reactions to diplomatic nicieties.

Xi Jinping already went to the USA and warned his hosts to their faces:

- You stay on your side of the Pacific, we stay on our side.

"The vast Pacific Ocean has ample space for China and the United States."

- East Asia is our backyard. We don't like your military there.

"At a time when people long for peace, stability and development, to deliberately give prominence to the military security agenda, scale up military deployment and strengthen military alliances is not really what most countries in the region hope to see."

- Don't phuc with our "core interests." And that includes Tibet because we know you are trying to pull something funny there.

Obama, Xi exchange polite warnings - Indian Express Chinese Vice President Urges U.S. to Respect ‘Core Interests’

- We know you talk about partnership, but we see you are trying to contain us.

And to drive home the point the U.S. isn’t doing enough to respect such “core interests,” Xi borrowed a line from George Washington that “action, not words, are the true criterion of the attachment of friends.” China's Xi spars with lawmakers, avoids specifics in speech - latimes.com

If it was Hu Jintao. He would have gone there. Gotten lectured by everybody he met. Heckled by the audience. Manhandled by security guards. And then his reply would be ad-lib tedious party doctrine: "China is a socialist country. We are trying hard to improve the standard of living of our citizens. We are still very poor. We are no threat to you. We have no interest in being a leader or a great power......."

If it was Wen Jiabao, in addition to the above. He would say with a big smile, "Yes I agree with everything you say about China. You are truly our superiors. Please give us a chance to kiss your feet, masters. Don't turn you back on us."

Xi Jinping is one hardcore alpha male. Huge Chinese pride. Huge ego. Not taking flak from any foreigners. Tight as lips and teeth with the PLA (even marrying a PLA officer). My hero!
