Xi presents China's Friendship Medal to Vietnam's communist party chief Nguyen Phu Trong

But india is not a matured economy, ur people still starve from lack of good jobs.
Name one economy where people don't suffer - it is always either jobs, food, freedoms, tyranny ....

.
What's the problem with that? As long as Chinese make it cheap India or anyone with cash will buy. Just make sure you work hard and keep costs low
Slumdog pariahs have strange hallucinations again because of severe hunger?

It's never OR, always AND.
India and any other matured economy will make, buy and trade. If someone in India (or vietnam or BD or ...)can make it cheaper they'll source from there.
Who told the slum pariahs the joke that "slums are mature economies"? Is this part of Modi's brainwashing program?

I see a lot of very ignorant comments in this thread. Vietnamese are Vietnamese and Chinese are Chinese.

People from Guangdong etc. migrated to Vietnam in mass when Japanese agression happened. These people living in Vietnam now are 100% Han Chinese not "ethnically related to Chinese" as some of you claimed. They still speak Teo Chiu (dialect of Chinese) and consider themselves Chinese. They also tend to marry other Han Chinese in Vietnam. There are a few odd balls that marry Viet husbands/brides but those are the minority of ethnic Han in Vietnam.

Vietnam was never "ethnically related to Chinese". What you think of those "Vietnamese" are simply Han migrants that migrated to avoid the war.

Some Chinese even migrated very far to the South of Vietnam to areas onced belonged to Cambodia. BUT they got surprised when Vietnam annexed those parts (they thought they were building a future home in Cambodia but hoho God played a trick on them) so they are now stuck in Vietnam, and folks like you think they are Vietnamese but they are not!

So mostly, I see people hyping Vietnam to be the next Asian tiger because they are genetically related by blood. My rear end!

Chinese make up a minority in Vietnam. BUT they're the ones driving the majority of economy in Vietnam (because the real Vietnamese is lazy and loves to biggot about China on forums). What you people called Hoa people (Hua Ren) in Vietnam are simply emigrant Guangdonians decades ago, not full blooded Vietnamese that are somehow magically "ethnically related to Chinese".

Unfortunately, there are no Chinese control of the politics in Vietnam.

Vietnam is a country that could backstab China at anytime. Those in power in Vietnam are not the ethnic Han nor their descendants that migrated there due to Japanese agression. The VCP don't identify with China's ideology nor goals. They're simply in it to profit from a rising China!

The less China has to do with Vietnam (other than show some superficial friendship) the better for her future!

Its takes 2 hand to work. If Vietnam is working towards better of economy and prosperity, Why China shall not work with them? I dont think they are as stupid like American who think they can maintain hostility towards China while expect business as usual and will not suffer.

Vietnamese leadership do see the need to have good r/s with China if they want to continue prosper. The profit from developing a strong manufacturing economy is far fatter than drill oil from SCS which irk the China and causes more friction between 2 countries.

Also, ethnically, Vietnamese are related to Chinese at large and especially closely related to the people in Guangdong and Gaungxi neighbouring provinces, in ancient time they belonged to the same Yue group people.
Maybe just Gaungxi. If you know some Vietnamese, Vietnamese grammar is very different form the Chinese.

Vietnamese are also related to Cantonese, they all belonged to the ethnic Yue 百越 groups of people 2000 years ago, Vietnam, Guangxi and most of Guangdong all belonged to the state Nan Yue 南越 under 赵佗王 then.

At that time, 南越国 was the regime of the southern Chinese regime. The territory of Nanyue country includes Vietnam (then called Annan), but the Cantonese spoken by the southerners of Guangdong must be different from the northern ones, but the grammar is basically the same. But the grammar of Vietnamese is fundamentally different from that of Chinese.

Vietnamese is not in Sino-Tibetan family of language, it is an Austroasiastic language, thats why their grammer is different from Chinese.

Indian official tells people to eat rats

CCP official tells Hans to Hanland rodents

DEVOURING THEIR OWN
In Guangxi, this led to cannibalism, in which mobs -- egged on by local party officials -- went berserk and ate the flesh of hundreds of victims, most of them poor and defenseless. If one former official's estimate is correct, some 10,000 to 20,000 people from Wuxuan County alone must have engaged in cannibalism directed at "class enemies." The exact numbers remain unknown.

You are right.

Vietnamêse language is original from Mon Khmer Language, not Sino Tibetan. So, In any case we do not permit such Hua or Han ethnic living in Vietnam will control our politic or economy in Vietnam.
