And believe me, there’s no outrage over this creative exploration. It’s just that there’s one person from Nevada named Rajan Zed, who happens to take offense and has released a statement opposing the comparison.

This one fellow does not represent the sentiments of Hindus worldwide. And he’s just a single person that has protested, so there’s no ‘Hindu leaders’ (plural).
To think of it, we’re cool that way. It’s safe to assume that most Hindus won’t and don’t have any issues with this creative exploration of Krishna in a fictitious movie. If your religion is so weak that a simple character in a movie can shake the foundations of it, then there’s a problem with the religion, not the movie.

And as a Hindu myself, I’m glad we can tolerate this trivial issue. Forget about being tolerant/intolerant, we will infact go to the theaters and enjoy the movie.

being a Hindu, the only problem i have with this trailer is that it is comparing lord Krishna to some apocalypse god. Hell, lord Krishna is the one who flirt with random chicks,replies to demons in sarcastic tone and plays a flute....nowhere near some apocalyptic personality....Goddess Kali or Shiva in his rudra form would have been great for this particular role.
