And there’s a scene where Apocalypse says, “I have been called many things over many lifetimes — Ra, Krishna, Yahweh.”
Btw, Ra is the Egyptian Sun God and Yahweh is the national God of the ancient kingdoms of Israel and Judah.
And believe me, there’s no outrage over this creative exploration. It’s just that there’s one person from Nevada named Rajan Zed, who happens to take offense and has released a statement opposing the comparison.

That’s it.
This one fellow does not represent the sentiments of Hindus worldwide. And he’s just a single person that has protested, so there’s no ‘Hindu leaders’ (plural).
To think of it, we’re cool that way. It’s safe to assume that most Hindus won’t and don’t have any issues with this creative exploration of Krishna in a fictitious movie. If your religion is so weak that a simple character in a movie can shake the foundations of it, then there’s a problem with the religion, not the movie.
And as a Hindu myself, I’m glad we can tolerate this trivial issue. Forget about being tolerant/intolerant, we will infact go to the theaters and enjoy the movie.
