I just heard Mitsubishi just got embroiled in Scandal for faking car readings company lost 50% of its net worth

The Mitsubishi Group aka the Mitsubishi Group of Companies or Mitsubishi Companies, is a group of autonomous Japanese multinational companies. The Mitsubishi Group is made up of about 40 individual companies with no controlling parent company. Each of the Mitsubishi companies owns substantial portions of the shares of the others. Instead of a parent company exercising control over subsidiaries, the group operates under the direction of a triumvirate of the three most important sister companies: the Mitsubishi Bank, the Mitsubishi Corporation, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Core members
  • Asahi Glass Co.
  • The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ
  • Kirin Company
  • Meiji Yasuda Life
  • Mitsubishi Corporation
  • Mitsubishi Electric
  • Mitsubishi Estate
  • Mitsubishi Heavy Industries
  • Mitsubishi Materials
  • Mitsubishi Logistics
  • Mitsubishi Motors (Automobile manufacturing and sales)
  • Mitsubishi Paper Mills
  • Mitsubishi Plastics
  • Mitsubishi Rayon
  • Mitsubishi Research Institute
  • Mitsubishi Shindoh
  • Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing

You refer to Mitsibishi Motors, presumably.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Motors

Mitsubishi Motors cheated on its fuel economy ratings. Similar in nature to what Kia, Hyundai and Ford have been accused of over the last few years, essentially Mitsubishi rigged its fuel economy testing – underestimating fuel consumption by some 5 to 10 per cent. Some are conflating this latest scandal with Volkswagen’s malfeasance.

In relation to VWs Dieselgate, it might be wise to put Mitsubishi’s misconduct in context: the 625,000 rigged cars Mitsubishi has admitted to rigging are only about 5 per cent of the 11 million that Volkswagen futzed with. More importantly, they were all Japanese home market products, the famous “Kei” cars with engines limited to 660 cc, making none of them suitable for North American consumption and the technology used not transferable here. Furthermore, the scandal revolves around fuel consumption, not tailpipe emissions. No one has accused Mitsubishi products of polluting the atmosphere more as a result of this test rigging. And even the “scandal” of greater fuel consumption smacks a little of tempests in teapots.

Actually, it takes 17 sec to take off.
Impressive

Watch out for what? The Japanese only attacks during calamities like Chinese civil wars. A united China is always well beyond the match of Japan.

Also, have you Indians forgotten the atrocities committed by the Japanese against Indian soldiers?
Dude it's was not aimed against Indians but British controlled colony. And more over Japanese if stopped with China and never attacked US history of China could be changed for ever. They are so powerful civilization like Indians. We share more similarities and more common enemies

Idiot? I dare you , name "1 (one ) " institution which has declared Modi as culprit . Else by your logic every law institution in the world is idiot , I would assume...
Institution? Country. He already named a country which put a ban on Mr Modi's entry in USA due the atrocities committed under his direct supervision in Gujrat, India. 3000 innocent muslims butchered. We canot forget it dear, never ever.
So, USA. Still need an "institution" name?

They all look alike

The ATD-X will be used as a technology demonstrator and research prototype to determine whether domestic advanced technologies for a fifth generation fighter aircraft are viable. The fighter prototype was expected to be fully developed by 2018′ the ATD-X program will then lead to a F-3 fighter expected to be produced in 2027

do you think Japan can produce a powerful enough engine for this?? or would it be cheaper to just produce the GE-414EPE or the EJ2000?

Oh my god! So Awesome! Absolutely beautiful!

That owl of yours is just great!

oh what? The fighter? I dont know, it looks kinda like the Shenyang j31 prototype.

Are you really coming with your funny Political Stuff here ? China is growing yes, but Japans grows too and this Fighter has the Souls of :

We already know Chinese engineering & Japanese engineering

XF5-1
  • 49.03 kN (11,023 lbf) with afterburner
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IHI_Corporation_XF5

F414-400
  • 13,000 lbf (57.8 kN) military thrust
  • 22,000 lbf (97.9 kN) with afterburner
F414-EPE
  • 26,400 pounds (120 kN) with afterburner
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Electric_F414#Specifications_.28F414-400.29

Eurojet EJ200

  • 60kN (13,500lbf) dry thrust;
  • 90kN (20,250lbf) with reheat
EJ2x0
Stage 1:

  • dry thrust 72 kN (or 16,200 lbf)
  • reheated output 103 kN (or 23,100 lbf)
Stage 2:
  • dry thrust 78 kN (or 17,500 lbf)
  • reheated output 120 kN (or 27,000 lbf)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurojet_EJ200

The current engine is fairly close to the basic EJ200 already.... why not?

Did USA say that they consider him culprit?

And let it be clear burning out 60 Hindu women and children in Godhra was no bravery too. And divine justice prevailed.

The Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) XF5 is a low bypass turbofan engine being developed in Japan by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries for the Mitsubishi X-2 Shinshin (ATD-X).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IHI_Corporation_XF5

Propulsion
The experimental aircraft will be powered by two XF5-1 low-bypass turbofan engines, developed by Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI). With a length of 3m and a diameter of 0.6m, each engine produces a thrust of up to 11,000lb. The engines exhaust through low-signature exhaust ports in the tail of the aircraft.

Powered by two IHI XF5-1 low-bypass engines, the aircraft small by fighter standards with a length of 14.2m (46.5ft) and a wingspan of 9.1m.

The Japanese developed their own 'larger brother' to the F-16. It's called the F-2 and has been flying for many years. It's kinda like what the F/A-18E is reltive to F/A-18C. Some differences in the F-2 from the F-16A:
  • a 25% larger wing area
  • composite materials used to reduce overall weight and radar signature
  • longer and wider nose to accommodate a J/APG-1/J/APG-2 active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar. (The F-2 was the first operational military aircraft in the world to feature an AESA radar, before the F-22 Raptor’s AN/APG-77 AESA radar.)
  • larger tailplane
  • larger air intake
  • three-piece cockpit canopy
  • capabilities for four ASM-1 or ASM-2 anti-ship missiles, four AAMs, and additional fuel tanks
Also, the F-2 is equipped with a drogue parachute, like the version of the F-16 used by Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Greece, Turkey, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Venezuela.

I care because if a country votes for a leader who would do such horrible things, there is something seriously wrong about said country.
