But it does not carry Guns under chin ?dont see any ?The upgraded export variant, dubbed the Z-19E, seems to carry the same type of loadout as the Z-10, likely due to an uprated engine:

*Vipers there is a huge difference b/w super Cobras and Vipers
You see, the WZ-10 offers a much more "bang for buck".The WZ-10 is an excellent machine for facing armoured offensives, but the WZ-19 is a lot more appropriate for lower intensity operations, especially against remnant insurgencies in FATA. Also, PAA could use the WZ-19 in its intended role, i.e. as a scout/reconnaissance helicopter, or perhaps as a secondary laser targeting aircraft to serve alongside other attack helicopters (such as WZ-10), I'd much rather send in the WZ-19 than a Fennec to be honest.
I knew it,i have seen a h-65 styled helicopter must be of navy cause i was near f-9 at that time and naval headquarters are just next to it.There are no WZ19 in pakistan for testing
What was the color of helicopter ?I knew it,i have seen a h-65 styled helicopter must be of navy cause i was near f-9 at that time and naval headquarters are just next to it.
It looks damn cool! And it has very strong firepower as a recon heli, a type one of the best. The upgraded export variant, dubbed the Z-19E, seems to carry the same type of loadout as the Z-10, likely due to an uprated engine:

The WZ-19 would make for a good replacement of the Fennecs and Jet Rangers in the scouting/reconnaissance, light attack and combat support role. Compared to those helicopters a WZ-19 can carry more and is more survivable. PAA can acquire it to compliment the WZ-10 in larger engagements (e.g. against an actual army), and at the same time, use the WZ-19 for most COIN focused operations in FATA. Armament wise the WZ-19 is right up there, if not better than, the existing set of AH-1F/S.
One question, can drone hover and fire missile on tree high level ?No offence but the highlighted part can be done by drones.
Fennecs are not for these operations they are mostly for high altitude areas but unfortunately Pakistan Army lost one in Peshawar because they tried to send all available assets. Moreover they are not going to be replaced any time soon as they are recently procured and are brand new.
Jet Ranger is a transport utility helicopter it can not be replaced by a scout and light attack helicopter which does not give any utility and transportation capability. If Pakistan Army is going to replace Jet Ranger it has to get either Z-9 or MIL-35.
The only place for the WZ-19 can be for the Ministry of Interior which could use these helicopters for support role to the Paramilitary forces and that too in very limited numbers 10 at the most.
Replacement of AH-1's is not going to be considered for some time however if these helicopters are to be supplemented then more can be procured through EDA. Some also consider that by 2018 ATAK-B would also be available to Pakistan which would be a far more attractive.

The range and the speed? An the cost and availability?View attachment 289376 View attachment 289377
The US drone might not be available to Pakistan but the second picture is of German one which can be procured...
Allocating Z-19Es for use by the Ministry of Interior is an interesting idea as it would offer the Frontier Corps an excellent CAS capability. It makes me wonder if it is not time to set up an air guard of sorts that would be equipped with enough utility and transport helicopters (Z-9?), COIN platforms (e.g. Super Tucano), light attack helicopter (Z-19), and light utility transports, all to better handle the MoI's mandate of managing the internal security situation. An 'Air Corps' that's fully capable of COIN and low intensity engagements would enable the PAF and PAA to focus almost entirely on defending the border. No offence but the highlighted part can be done by drones.

Well said, but if I could change one thing, I don't think we'd need more Z-19 than Z-10. Significant numbers of Z-10 are necessary for external state level threats, but unless COIN unravels into a wide scale issue, perhaps a more limited number of Z-19 (40?) is needed to handle remnant insurgencies?Z-10 appears to have far more option in the Weapons selection (Air to Air missiles)
Appears to also have Radar integrated and targeting pod , Night vision support for pilots
Electronic warfare pod etc. Has higher performance (Physical qualities)
Z-19 has no radar specified , no night mission the heclipter is less advance technologically
Performance wise its a decent helicopter considering we don't operate new breed for a nation like us.
It is debatable if we can afford both platform but ideally we should have a strategy to have both platforms
Z-19 (Z-19 is named as Black Whirlwind)is a decent platform for Border light missions
Z-10 (Z-10 is named as Fiery Thunderbolt)is ideal for Military close support going against anti tank, anti military vehicles , anti helicopter role
- From Tactical perspective Z-19 would be great 100 Units for West Borders
- Z-10, 70 units are ideal for Military offensive purpose (West/East)
Decent platform could look nice as standard light helicopter division in Pakistan Military
Lack of Gatling gun or machine gun etc is very visible item missing on this chopper if you are apprehending infantry on foot ideally a few warning shots on side would get attention
Price of two Choppers would be a big factor
For Pakistan to safeguards its needs they must induct
- 100-150 Units of Attack helicopters helicopters that can service the nation for 10-15 years
Ideally so you can develop a servicing center and upkeep center of Engineering for these Units. You need to develop Engineering resources and ground workers etc
