I am still startled to know how in the world BLM reached the UK.

Thats easy, most black communities look up to the American communities for inspiration. They do as they see the American communities. You might not know but we do have our own version of Black Panther group in Brixton. They wear stab vests and march like a militia - all in the name of black power.

The left leaning parties also contributed to this by trying to make this non-issue an issue. Result was chaos on the streets of London. What most people seem to forget is that even the most right leaning party in power in the UK has very little in common with the GOP etc.

Yet you can roam without fear on the streets of Bradford, try doing that in Brixton or parts of Croydon and you will get stabbed. Yet they forget that you only have to cross the channel to know how tolerant UK is versus some other EU nations. This tolerance has manifested over the years and instead of building on this tolerance they decided to blame all UK institutions racists as well. End of the day ground realities and political/cultural environment in UK is very different to the US.

I fear that their actions have started the tilt towards a more American style race relations, which doesn't suit us or our culture.

The UK banned slavery much much earlier than the US. I'm pretty sure the UK didn't have segregation. And the UK doesn't have a large native black population. Most black people in the UK are immigrants. Totally different than the US.

Right wing in the US tends to be very hyper-capitalistic. If Boris Johnson tried to do shutdowns if he was part of the GOP, thry would've kicked him out and called him a "socialist".

UK is far more segregated now than it was in the 1990s. It's because each ethnic minority has so many of it's own people they can function within their own community without having to mix with other races or going mainstream. I've also noticed that the various ethnic minorities also keep well away from one another and don't mix. blacks stick together; Pakistanis stick together; Arabs stick together and most other non-whites stick to their own. These non-white groups keep well away from one another too. Yes, race relations in the UK are becoming like those in america.

While they might stick together and live in the same area, most have embraced the culture and the British way of life. The communities are integrated into the wider community and are contributing members of the society. Hence why you have the perceived audacity that Khan is the Mayor and Rishi the Chancellor. It will not be long before you will have a ethnic minority PM. The institutions are inherently inclusive which is not the same as US.

If our Black community can forgo their self-assumed and self-inflected victimhood borrowed from the Black American communities we will not have an issue. It is quite telling that these BLM mobs were asking for the Met Police to defund. I mean when was the last time a black person was shot dead or killed due to police brutality.

They cry wolf due to knife crime in the area yet when police implement stop and search they cry racial profiling. The main culprit is the rabid ultra left, which has become so powerful that even people who want to be in the centre are now classed as right wing according to their logic.

The only community causing an issue is the Black community, the Hindus have their Dewali, Sikhs have their festivals and the Muslims have their Eid. The Blacks - well they have riots and looting meets.
