Wrong conclusions being deduced from Azerbijan Armenia conflict

Drones soon will control and patrol.
Loitering drones with machine guns flying or hovering low is round the corner
Easy picking for troops with the right weapons. Read up on the how Apache gunships were ambushed in Najaf by insurgents with small arms. UGV's would be more durable.

the era of drone wars is upon us.
Agreed but Infantry and ground forces will adapt. Flying drones are not very durable. Shooting at flying targets will have to be taught in infantry school. Low costs SAM's will be developed eventually.

Loool ok. Designers don't know how to design for that or stay out of range of light weapons. I mean come on

Too avoid bullets drones will have to fly higher...that makes them less useful as flying tanks. UGV's would make more sense. Flying drones will be important in the future but I don't see them as flying tanks.

Ultimately infantry and ground forces will have to become duel use like modern fighter aircraft. Infantry and ground forces will have to be trained and equipped for air defense as well as ground combat. Drones and AC will become stealthier to radar but still can be heard and seen by infantry on the ground. Networked warfare will allow a jawan on the front lines to report sightings and noises of stealthy drones/AC back to air defense networks. Current generation of air defense are descendants of cold war tech and are geared to shooting large AC or missiles.....Sam's and AAA will have to adapt to current threats. These are my observations and comments from reviewing recent conflicts.

Drones kill drones, flying or on the ground, networked, AI or autonomous. Defeat or victory henceforth lies beyond that point...
until one masters electromagnetic sphere.

This is what I've been saying. Thank you for making this post.
Sir,

You are incorrect in your analysis---.

The modern day air war decimates the enemy's assets and sends it to stone age---.

Don't build your palaces on other people's destructiuon---.
said like a true armchair general
Hi,

There will be no more " decisive victory " any more---. You will go in---decimate your enemy and leave---.

A nation destroyed is a nation abandoned---. Nobody there to help rebuilt---.

Understand the modern warfare young man---.
Thank for telling us about modern warfare sir. How did you learn so much about war from the internet that you know better than all the military analysts and 5 star generals in the world even though you can't spell warfare correctly. Could you please teach me sir.

Edit: he has changed his post to spell "warfare" the right way. I should've taken a screenshot.

lmao For those people who think drones are everything , incase your enemy uses its SOF assets to make pre-emptive strikes against your strategic sites and airbases. What will you do then ? How do you tend to fly drones. Similarly if the opposing airforce knocks out your runways , or if simply they get air superiority over air space , your drones wont last at all. As Zaravan said , drone theory wont work at large scale in pak-India. Secondly neither India nor Pak seems to be interested in Utilizing armed drone for large scale warfare. A couple of Burraq's & Harop's wont change anything , especially with such a large scale of war that would ensue.
