There are laws in Republic of India which do take care of these issues. I never had problems with Brahmins or any other Hindus.

Indians need to accept that caste system is the essence of India. When caste system is removed, so will the essence of India.
Man,you don't know a shit about Hinduism and yet you are talking about it as if you are a Hindu yourself.First of all, there is nothing called Brahminical superiority in the present day India.2ndly,both Hindi and English have been given the status of the official language by the Indian Constitution,so English is not the sole official language of India.3rdly,the Constitution of India guarantees religious freedom and equality to all the citizens of this country irrespective of his/her caste, creed and religion. In our country people are selected to higher offices solely on the basis of their merit and it doesn't matter if the said person belongs to a religious minority community.4thly,casteism has already started to wane away from the Indian society at large and we'll completely eradicate the effects of casteism in the next couple of decades from our society but that doesn't change the fact that the majority of us are still followers of Sanatan Dharma and we'll continue to do so in the future too!!
Freedom and equality counters the essence of Hibduism, which is base on caste superiority, with Brahman on the top and Dalit in the bottom while everyone else fit in between. Destroy this caste system will destroy the essence of India. Also, English is what tie India together, no matter what is the official language.
