i miss the fish fry, onion rings and bondas. specially the fish fry a BIG mackerel (bangda) almost weighing half a kilo and very fresh just @ 20 Rs.

but the chennai heat is un-bearable, i somehow survived 2 years there.

ajtr is right. I like this beach alot but i had found it very very dirty. and i was sad to see people there were as much careless about cleanliness at such places as we have in our country.

Despite being a foreigner i put all the wrappers and other such waste in my bag till i could put it in some bin but there people were throwing all kinds of stuff.


I dont know if newer face has been inaugurated this year or last year

it has been inaugarated this year mam, and have deployed additional police patrolling and watch towers, u pay fine if u Throw waste... Well as I said its still Incomplete, New Oasis, Pool and Other infrastructures are On its way there.... So Its not healthy enough to get dirty there

Where was columbus really going when he accidentally discovered america and called the natives 'indians'?The entire subcontinent south east of indus river was called india,almost all ancient travellers who visited south india called it india only. vascoda gama landed in kerala in 1498,we can see all the portuguese records terming that area as india.Rulers of my state kerala had trade relationship with arabs and romans even before islam and we were called indians by them.
And about andaman..they had no relation with indonesia apart from being under dutch east india company-no indonesian rulers ever ruled that area.

Yes that is true, the largest beach is in BD the Cox bazaar beach

When i visited marina in my childhood it was a lot dirty..good to see govt have taken a lot of measures to keep it clean and beautiful.
