Pakistan is on the 17th berth; being an agricultural-based economy a discouraging fact. IMO the reason is most of the young generation whenever passed their SSC exam they started to dream about the 'Sarkari Naukari' and the provisioning/creating that post is the total responsibility of the government. Most of our PMs also lure the public for such bait in election campaigns.
Very few graduates think about doing farming/business as there is very less information/institute available to the masses.
According to the reports, some countries approved Pakistan for the import of meat; the question is we are unable to produce sufficient quantity for home and this export boon will further take the entity away from the general public. The impact will be on poultry and the prices will shoot and it will also go in the reach of an elite class only.
GOP needs to do some legislation in this regard and offer some lucrative schemes for the general public to adapt cattle farming (from grass root levels) as their bread and butter or else we could become and be considered the forced vegetarian in the world; a unique record.

absolutely. for decades pakistanis have refused to innovate anything, or follow the leading trends. the 3 decades, 1990-2020, can be considered as dark ages. a proper sustained development, even small, would have been paying dividends by now in every field. we are an agricultural country, yet we dont export any meat, dairy or poultry related products.

Does it really happen in India? I mean I get it if the main intention is to mock other religions but in most of the cases I read here, the victims had no other intentions but the trade or consume them. I mean how weak a man's faith really if he needs to force others not to consume beef just because he doesnt?

Yes it happens. It is not just Muslims who are the victims of these lynchings but Dalits too. Dalits aka Untouchables are outside the four castes in the Hindu caste system. Even the 4th caste, the Shudras, are considered by many high caste Hindus to be unrespectworthy so the Dalits are more so. The Dalits have been the traditional skinners and disposers of dead cattle and other such "lowly" occupations and as described by your wiki they too have been the victims of cow protection gangs. I think these gangs want to do such lynchings and almost lynchings not only because of their sincere mindless fanaticism but also because they want to become members of the ruling BJP party and such acts will allow them to get promotion into the party or at least they will come into the gaze of some party person who will use these gangs members as muscle.
